ladystrat Completely understand the break, but it's nice to see you back. xolastunicornxo Ugh, that is something I forgot about, but yes totally normal. Your body is still getting rid of all that excess fluid you built up. Isn't there a hair loss thing too? Yay fun. peachsmama Exciting that you are getting close. Looking forward to seeing the house in progress. You guys all make Disney look/sound so fun. I have always imagined large crowds and long lines in the heat and have never been motivated to go. Maybe I need to give it a shot.

Morning. So, this may be a weird question, but I don’t remember having this after the boys. I feel like I can’t regulate my temperature right now, especially overnight. Like I’m either freezing so I bundle under the covers, and the I wake up sweating. Is this a pp thing??? So, yesterday I ran out to the library and left C home with dh. While I was out I noticed our tire light was on and I could here air leaking out, so I drove to discount tire. Well, they were going to be an hour and a half wait, which I couldn’t do since I didn’t have C. So I drive home and dh changed it to the spare so we could drop the tire off today. Today the spare it flat too. 😒 I had this bad after both boys. IIRC it was 2-3 weeks maybe? And definitely mostly at night.

Cadence took her band-aid book to school this morning. It's a super cute book with removable band-aids that you put on various animals boo-boos. I watched this morning as the kids circled around her and she was showing them. She was making them raise their hand for a chance to put a ban-aid on a page. My kid is going to be the boss of something one day. LOL I love her.

Does anyone own a go pro? A wants to set one up and tape our foundation being dug and the house going in and everything. So we can speed it up and see the whole thing take place.
ETA: my question, how hard is it to use? I just remembered R has one and he's going to lend it to us so I don't have to buy one.

ladystrat good to see you and to hear that given the circumstances you’re doing okay. @xolastunicorn haven’t had it myself but my ob warned me about pp night sweats... dapostrophe yes hair loss is a thing... it was crazy for a while and the new hair growing back was maddening. And I’m there with you when it comes to Disney, the pics look so cute, but for me I always envision it as one long line and hysterical characters 😉.

Dropped Theo at the gym and took myself to Starbucks. Yesterday, at the open gymnastics thing I totally hit it off with this mom there. She had a super cute little girl close to Theo's age and she was pregnant too. She even came over to say goodbye to us when she left and I wish I would have just asked for her info. That's such an awkward thing when you first meet someone, but I was just saying the other day I need to make more mom friend's with kids at home to hang out with while my older kids are at school....and then I choked when one came along. Oh me.
In happier news, I just got a delivery alert that my order from Magnolia Market is arriving today. Yay!

I have 2 cold sores on my actual lips, not the lip line and they are driving me insane. klong11 what was that cold sore stuff you recommended? Zilactin. It's OTC, but not sure where all it is sold. I use this too! Really does help. I ordered it on Amazon but I bet CVS or Walgreens have it. At the first sign I put ice on them, and hold it on as long as I can stand. I know it sounds weird but then I will pop the blisters and use a q-tip to put rubbing alcohol on them. It dries them out and they heal faster in my experience. Burns like a bitch though.

xolastunicornxo I vividly remember the night sweats. So annoying but normal. Lasted a couple weeks for me I believe.

peachsmama cool idea! I don’t own a go pro, but my cousin does. He made amazing footage in Asia while one vacation. I know they bought it in the states. I see him tomorrow, do you want me to asked what brand he has?

We had our first automatic flush toilet since potty training. Matthew yelled out "HEY! Why did that just do that? Who pushed the button? Why is it scary?" Heads up: you might want to cover the sensor on them with your hand (don't actually touch it, just hover in front of it). Cadence is apparently too small for some of them and they flush while she is still going. She wants to stop and leave immediately when that happens. Or you can drape a piece of toilet paper over it too.

I feel like this is how it actually is, lol. I’ve expressed it here before and it’s a UO (how appropriate, it’s Thursday!) but I hate Orlando, and I think Disney has gotten over-complicated and outrageously expensive. I know my kids will love it, and I’m sure we’ll enjoy seeing it thru their eyes to a degree, but it’s just not something I care to repeatedly invest my vacation time/$ in. Obviously millions of people passionately disagree with that and love it there, so I’m probably in the minority 😜

I see him tomorrow, do you want me to asked what brand he has? Thats okay. R is going to bring his to us and teach A how to use it. Hopefully it's simple. This is likely the last house his grandpa will be well enough to do the foundation for so it's really important to A for it to be recorded in some way.

After getting on the SC thread, it was nice to see SweetPotato . Tagging with the hopes I can lure her in here if she's still active on HiH. Also, sing2phins , @ljgs1010, @finnaroo, while I'm at it. Omg, I'm sitting next to the most obnoxious lady at Starbucks. This always seem to happen to me.

xolastunicornxo, I had night sweats so bad after B! I woke up one night, and I had a perfect, wet imprint of my body on the sheets.

Oh my gosh, the postpartum sweats were awful. Like kick mh out of bed to change the sheets. I remember it went on for a while, not months, but definitely more than a few days. Sorry for the flat tire. It’s the worst, but I’m happy to hear it’s normal! Maybe I blocked it out and it did happen with the boys!! Totally normal, and mine were waaay worse with J than B. I’m sorry I hope it’s short lived, it’s the worst.

I need someone with a critical eye and a skeptical attitude to go in for reconnaissance and report back.
