One of my friends sent a message to the wrong group text about a sprinkle/intimate baby celebration for me. Her suggested themes were pizza, sushi, or artsy and wacky.
They get me.
I actually hope they don't go crazy because I don't think it's looked kindly on for a 3rd baby. I've made this known, but I have a suspicion they don't care.

It's not like you're throwing it for yourself or whining about not having one. If your friends want to organize something I wouldn't side-eye it.

Ugh my little nearly fainting thing is already being talked about around the town I live in.
Joys of living in a middle size town and it happening in the only main food store in the town.
I mean I don't care but I don't like the attention lol. I've had a couple people message me because they've heard 'from a friend of a friend' and just wanted to make sure everything is ok... no you are being nosey!!
Anyway... woke up with the most intense craving for home cooked chips (French fries for you guys?) not to brag but my home made chips are GORGEOUS. My god I want them now, it's only 9:10am lol. I will wait until dinner time!

I'm due 11/6, but my other children both came at 38 weeks (DD by induction, DS by himself). With twins they're saying between 36-38, so anytime after 10/9 is fair game...which means I'll get to dress up my monkeys for their first Halloween! 🎃 Has your doctor said anything about inducing at 38 weeks? At one of my last appointments,'the dr told me they won't let me go past 38 weeks with twins. Which means October babies for me too! Also means halfway there as of next week, which is crazy! I'll have another c-section regardless, but I'm assuming 38 weeks will be the latest they'll let me go. I'll be 19 weeks on Monday which is definitely crazy!

I was induced at 41w5d and gave birth the next evening via csection- never dilated past 3cm so I fully am prepared for a December baby. Interesting cnf that for vbac they let you go to 41w- for whatever reason I thought they wouldn't let you go "that far." But it makes sense that they do not want to induce if they can avoid it. My plan is to attempt a vbac if I go naturally but if there are zero signs of impending labor at 41w I'll probably just schedule a rcs. My OB told me that since I am doing a VBAC that they won't induce me at all, so if I need an induction it is an automatic section.

Had our anatomy scan yesterday and found out that we are having another baby girl! I'm so happy. I think everyone assumes you want one of the opposite sex of what you already have, but I really wanted another little girl. I'm feeling pretty

Am I the only one that thoroughly enjoys reading all of beefinch, posts? I love hearing the British "accent" through the computer.

I'm going to gain so much weight during this pregnancy ... one of the interns brought in donuts again. I will definitely have two before the day is done. Hopefully my running around after DS will help keep the weight gain to in the realm of healthy. This kid is going to be PARTYING in 10 minutes when the sugar hits.

Awesome work cnf! You can do it! I went for a 5km run/walk the other day and was telling my fast running friend that I was super slow, and she asked what my pace was and I lied and said I didn't take my Garmin because I didn't want to admit it took 40 minutes! Even though I totally think the whole point of exercise during pregnancy is doing it at any speed. That was two weeks ago, and I've been pretty lazy except for kickboxing once a week and some very short spurts of yoga. I've been feeling good though, so will likely go out this weekend for one Congrats librarylady!

I'm so far behind from being on vacation. I hope everyone is having a great week!
16 week appointment was boring this morning. HB is at 140 which tells me zero things about what the sex of this baby may be. I'm getting impatient lol. AS isn't until the 23rd. Next week is my one hour glucose test :-( ugh. I had GD last time and I'm not looking forward to this at all.
Also- for my babywearing mamas- Tula is on Zulily today!

FYI Old Navy dresses are up to 40% off and you can get another 20% off with the code SWEET at checkout.
I just bought 5 for $85. They are a mix of maternity and non-maternity, so we'll see how it goes when they arrive!

I felt my first real, honest to goodness kick today compared to the indecipherable movements I've been feeling so far. I was bending over to pick something up for DS and Wham! "Hey, Ma! You're squishing me, sit up!" Much excitement!

I have multiple totes and garbage bags full of boys clothes from preemie-2T. My DS was born in May and this one is due in November. Couldn't be more opposite seasons! And we live in Wisconsin so we have all 4 seasons to an extreme. I'm dreading going through everything!

I've been seeing midwives so far because they can attend the births at my practice with an OB. I'll for sure ask them their practice but doing a lot of research I think not inducing might be standard practice!
