I'm headed downtown for a doctor's appointment. My blood pressure was still high at my PP follow-ups so I'm seeing my GP to see if I have regular hypertension now and get a plan for lowering it generally. It's never super high when I take readings at home, so I've thought for a little while that the MW office equipment is faulty. It was never even high in L&D when I was monitored or when I was induced. But we'll see.

Hope. It is the only thing stronger than fear.

I've been confused, and slacking, taking the bp meds.

Tgif!! Had to take C to a pediatric ophthalmologist today. The doc was concerned at his 2 month checkup about his eye reflexes and wanted us to get it checked out. Luckily, we got the all clear and it looks like he is just fine.
Now we're trying to decide what to do this weekend since it's supposed to be really hot.

Doctor's appointment went well. My blood pressure was high but not diagnostic, and my kidneys are fine.
I think my PP night sweats decided to make a comeback. Ugh.

I had a good night. Baby woke up only twice MOTN so I got a couple of good long stretches of sleep.
It's gonna be hot! I have the kids in shorts. Errands today include buying sunscreen for them.

Speaking of sunscreen...anytime have recommendations on sunscreen for infants? I feel like I heard/read somewhere that 6 months is when you can start using it? Any truth to that? C is 3 months for reference.

Oh, and bugspray/lotions that are baby safe? We have buffalo gnats bad this year, and often a lot of mosquitos. Suggestions for protecting LO?

sterl724 We used Thinkbaby sunscreen for our first. It was expensive but worked really well. I just picked up Aveeno for our 4 month old. It was less expensiv and I normally like Aveeno products so I figured it was worth a try. Bug sprays I was way more picky on. We got some of those citronella stickers and would put one on his back when he was running around and we got a natural bug deterrent spray which didn't have chemicals. He didn't get bitten and I did so I figured it worked. I haven't found good bug spray that I really wanted to put on my infant unfortunately. ETA- This is the bug spray I got that seemed to work. www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00RYWI7UW/ref=mp_s_a_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1497115228&sr=8-5&keywords=baby+bug+spray

Darn I missed this list. But I did get the neutrageena one listed for baby. Mine is already 6 mo and even tho I have suncreen I'll prob keep him in the shade as much as possible...he's so white! For my toddler I got babyganics spray sunscreen. I hope it's good cause I'll be spraying him each morning before DC. They go out each day and he tans easily.

I made a list of things I wanted to get done today and it feels too ambitious. The most/only important thing on that list is to go out for ice cream.

DNW to be at work, but there's nothing new about that. It's going to be so hot today. I may "accidentally" leave my flip flops on when I come back to work after lunch.
That's one thing I miss about being pregnant. Wearing flip flops to work when it was hot out and having no one care.
