My kid just came back and pounded on the door and asked for a bandaid and I told him I would get it later because I'm busy.  To be fair, his cut was from this morning and is not currently bleeding, nor is it really in need of a bandaid.

So that reminds me. R had a field trip today. No biggie, I signed the form. They walk for all of their field trips so no worries of someone driving my kid or anything like that. Well I get a phone call from daycare. I figure shit, he's hit someone or something else and is out of control and I'm going to have to go get him. Nope! The teacher started out with that he was wonderful for the field trip but at the end when she said to get your partners he must have though she meant to find a partner and he reached for a kid (the same kid who is involved in a very large percentage of our incident reports, both as the attacker and attackee) and the kid shoved him into some glass birdhouse! They wanted me to come make sure there wasn't any glass in the cuts and make sure I didn't think he needed stitches!! WTF! They were really not much more than scratches and he's completely fine but when I went in that kid was still there (R ratted him out when I got there) and was still on green (they do a red, yellow, green system for behaviors) and everything. But yet I got a phone call from the director the other day because R scratched a kid. Huh?

I'm calling another daycare in town to see if they have openings and if I can tour them sometime this week. I'm torn between not being happy about the way they are handling things and wanting to provide consistency. I'm afraid of making changes and just throwing him for yet another loop so quickly.

I made a hair mask last night and am putting it on tonight. It is half coconut oil and half olive oil. You put it on overnight and then shampoo it out the next day.

It is supposed to really help restore your hair if you do it weekly so I am going to try.
