I used: 1 nursing bra 2 button up nightgowns 1 robe Leggings Toiletries/shower stuff/makeup Flip flops Phone charger Nipple cream 1 swaddle blanket 1 hat 1 fleece sleeper (for going home)
Did not use: Boppy Breast pump My own underwear Any of my clothes except nightgown, robe, leggings Any clothes for LO except going home outfit Burp cloths Pacifier
The hospital provided all the pp necessities (mesh underwear, pads, dermoplast, tucks, cold packs, peri bottle) and things for baby (diapers, wipes, blankets, wrap shirt, pacifier). They gave tons of extra pp supplies and the only things I actually needed at home that I bought in advance were extra pads and tucks.

I’m going rather minimalist this time around.
I don’t like the baby hat so she goes without, but if I cared I’d have wished I brought one.
I’m wearing PJ pants, a tank to pull down and nurse in, and a maternity sweatshirt nonstop.
I would’ve liked a chocolate bar. Hahahahaha.

What is everyone wearing home from the hospital? I wore (maternity) jean shorts and a loose blouse last time. I like feeling held in after delivery but also don’t want to have anything that highlights the adult diaper situation so I feel like leggings are out?

I wore legging-ish pants last time and it didn't seem to highlight the mesh undie situation. I'm bringing leggings, sweatpants and a black dress. We'll see which I feel best in.

I wore leggings last time that didn't seem to be an issue with the mesh panties. I have leggings packed this time as well.

And a giant coat bc it was cold and rainy, so it probably didn’t really matter what I wore underneath.

I had forgotten to pack myself a clean shirt. I pretty much wore out what I wore in.

I wore black leggings and an oversized tunic top the last two times and have the same kind of outfit packed to wear home this time too.

I wore sweat pants, a long sleeve shirt and a fleece. I am glad I had the sweatpants because of the staples from my unplanned csection.

If this LO doesn’t get its head down soon we’ll be looking at a c section... which I haven’t even begun to prepare for. It could always happen regardless so I should probably look into what that entails/would require. I’ve had a few surgeries and MUCH prefer staples to stitches though.

Hospital doesn’t provide any clothes for baby here so I’ve packed a bunch of two way zippy sleepers and singlets for baby in a separate bag. I need to go back through my bag for me and make changes based on weather forecast. Literally it was 97 degrees yesterday and forecast to be 66 tomorrow. Could be leaving hospital in shorts and a tee or sweatpants and a sweatshirt depending on weather! I plan to live in tees and light yoga pants/3/4 sweats while in hospital with a light cardi-like robe. I need to pack snacks and make sure some trash tv is downloaded to my iPad. Jobs for this week.

I just kept babe swaddled in blankets until we left. They have wrap-style tee shirts for the babies, but they’re too big (even for my 9lb-er) and useless.

I like feeling held in after delivery but also don’t want to have anything that highlights the adult diaper situation so I feel like leggings are out? I have a couple pairs of 5+ year old yoga pants that are super stretchy/blown out that I took to the hospital last time & plan on taking them again this time. I put the panel up over my belly to hold everything in without being super tight and I really don't care at this point if they make it home or not.
