I don't think DS has the flu. He's pretty much acting like his normal self, just a little cranky and he has a snotty nose.

I've been pretty crabby lately. Way less patient. I was feeling good and doing well up until about a little over a week ago. Now not so much.

Ugh, my acne has gotten so bad that it’s now on my scalp. I didn’t even know this was possible.

I've been getting breakouts on my chest as well as my face. It's lovely.

Glycolic acid works well for my acne and it's safe for pregnancy.

Glycolic acid works well for my acne and it's safe for pregnancy. Tell us more! My skin went to shit too and I would love to fix it. I use Paula's Choice 8% AHA gel. It's the only thing that keeps my face clear. I still get the occasional breakout, but its so much better. This is after years and years of acne including antibiotics, retinol, differin, and all kind of other topical meds. I also use Paula's Choice products for the rest of my skincare, but I'm sure it's the AHA that is helping the most. Cutting dairy also helps, but cravings are getting in the way of that lately.

kam3100, I make my own ranch seasoning then mix it up like the hidden valley packets. Black Pepper ¼ C Parsley Flakes 1 1/2 C Garlic Salt ½ C Kosher Salt 2 Tbsp Granulated Garlic ¼ C Granulated Onion 3/4 C Dill Weed 2 Tbsp Mix 1tbsp seasoning with 1C of milk/buttermilk and 1C mayo and a generous squeeze of lemon juice. I like my ranch a little runny, but MH likes his thicker, so he’ll add maybe a 1/2 C of sour cream. It changes the flavor a little, so you might play with that to get it how you like it.

I’m 14 weeks and could swear I’ve been feeling little baby flutters. Those distinct weird little jumpy skips. Google seems to think that’s unlikely given how small the baby still is. Anyone else think they’re feeling something?

Anyone else think they’re feeling something? Also feeling movement already here...didn’t feel DD until about 20w, and DS wasn’t as active (he was a fat and chill baby). This girl is already making her presence known! Part of it may just be familiarity and knowing the difference between baby movement and gastrointestinal gurgles, lol.

Anyone else think they’re feeling something? I'm 15 weeks and I think I've been feeling this on and off for the last few days.

I remember a couple people mentioned the lack of patience lately, notmoose may have been one, sorry but I can't remember. I seem to be great for a few days and then I will have a day (like today) where I have zero patience. I was definitely short with DS today and then of course the guilt sets in. I realize he's probably just bored from being indoors all the time and wants to play so I need to try harder.

Anyone else think they’re feeling something? I'm almost 17 weeks and I've been feeling little movements for a few weeks now. Mine have most been a rolling feeling or little flutters.

Toddler sat on a cactus today. This is what we get for trying to be healthy and go hiking. And I can't even drink.

DS is home again with a 102 temp. This would be his third on his strep meds. At what point should I be concerned about his continued temp?

Every once in a while I think I feel baby, but I'm not sure. I felt DS at 18 weeks.

I HAVE to figure out a way to better deal with the kids on my own. Thankfully my dad is going to help me out some so it's not all me all the time. I immediately feel guilty when I snap at them but I seem to have no control.

I'm teaching my DD to cook. She made eggs for herself earlier and made chili for all of us for dinner. She's so cute, she gets so proud of herself. notmoose how old is she again? I am so impressed! She is 9! She's having so much fun learning to make new things. She has asked every night if she can help make dinner. 😊

Evenings and first thing in the morning seem to be my worst times.

DS woke with a 101 temp, runny nose, cough, and sore throat. Very clingy and emotional. I gave him Motrin about 45 mins ago and he's starting to act like himself.
Am I safe to assume it's not the flu if he recovered so quickly after having OTC meds?

You're lucky to have your dad be able to help you out while he's gone. I hate it when I yell, I have to keep reminding myself that he's just a little boy. It's crazy how motherhood changes you. I used to be so laid back, never yelled or really got upset, now I worry about everything and find myself always apologizing for yelling 😞
