peachsmama , fyi you will get teh keto flu today. It will come wiht a headache. Add salt to all the meals. And take a magnezium supplement. If you don't have a lot of magnesium in your multivitamin consider taking one of A's. ALso she is doing a live version next week. Basically the plan is to have a certian amount of nutrients (10carbs per meal) and double your workouts. There are some smoothies on the 2nd menu. I highly recommend you buy it. Good luck. PM me if you have any questions

But I will do it next week and look at her live stuff. I doubt the meal plan will be worth it since I don't eat meat.

But I will do it next week and look at her live stuff. I doubt the meal plan will be worth it since I don't eat meat. it probably won't work but you could look up vegetarian/vegan keto. THe big thing is she is dairy, gluten, and sweetener free which is not standard keto. It is also lower carbs than standard keto. There are a few shakes that might work and a lot of it is eggs (not sure if you eat that. So if you found some like that you could do them. Try and stick to her general idea even if you can't do the meal plan 100%. I did turkey bacon and ground turkey because I don't eat the other stuff. i upped my fat with avocado or mayo. Drink 1/2 your body weight in water, do double daily exercise. After doing 2 of these live I have gathered the basic ideas behind it to make it work. I have been mostly dairy free since the last one 4weeks ago and I have not gained any bloat back despite eating a lot of carbs. I am sad to lose my morning yogurt but it was good to learn about my body.

peachsmama, on a side note. THe last time she did the 7day surge she gave us an early buy in to her 14day program which is supposed to start April 2 just after 7.0 finishes. But I haven't heard anythign about it. She said it was supposed to be easier than the 7day for mealplan and such. I was kind of interested but I wanted to hear more info first.

I just finished my 3rd resistance training for BBG! Week 1 complete! Next week my goal is to get through the entire workout all 3 days. Today I learned I need to work on my form, not trying to get the most reps in that I can. Slowing down helped me not to get so exhausted/ feel like I want to barf. I am going to be sore tomorrow!

None of my clothes fit. It's my own fault. I need to get my ass in gear, but I have no initiative or energy to do so. I'm just being a lazy ass. My food consumption fell off the wagon this past week and my acid reflux reminded me of that every single night. Someone needs to come slap me!

kim22 I am on the fence about the 14day program. Not because of its effectiveness but because I find myself doing these programs and then not sticking to a diet after. They are great meals and family freindly (supposed to be BF friendly). The plan is very effective. I just need to commit after it is over too

I’m switching from beginner mode to regular mode on BBG starting today. I’m going to exercise during nap time later. I looked at the list of exercises and it requires a medicine ball which I don’t have. I may do arms and abs today and then do legs on wed instead so I have time to order one from amazon.

@klongora11 finding the motivation is the hardest part for me. I've quit putting everything I drink and eat into MFP and the weight loss has slowed. But it's more what long term will be for me. You'll get your motivation back!

Today is day 1 of my 10 day cleanse. No sugar, no dairy, no alcohol. The Weekend will be the hardest, I’m sure, I’m just hoping it’s not too hard during the week to keep me motivated

my friend told me about "itrackbites" app that is apparently free and has a bunch of weight loss programs like old and current Weight Watchers. I really need to get a new phone with storage so I can download this or MFP.

I have really been slacking this past week or so...I quit putting everything in MFP, just because it's kind of a pain. And I've been allowing myself more carbs than I had been.
But I put on a pair of jeans this morning that I bought a few weeks ago and they don't fit as well, so I need to get things back under control. I made egg whites with Canadian bacon for breakfast. I measured my coffee cream. I packed a protein shake, yogurt, cottage cheese and canteloupe to eat today. I did set steaks out to grill tonight, but have asparagus and salad planned for sides.
I refuse to gain back the 26lbs I had lost.

I'm not a big sweet person, so even though we have enough candy in our house to harm someone, it doesn't bother me. It's the damn carbs!!!

My food intake isn't the best. There isn't much to snack on at the house, but at work we have chips, candy, and all kinds of crap.
I have used my bike every night this week, though. M&T I did 5 miles and yesterday I did 6.

Alright, I'm ready to get my act together. I'm doing some meal planning now. What are some of your favorite healthier snacks, preferably with protein? I need ideas. My go tos are:
-Plain Greek yogurt -Apple and nut butter -Protein shake -Natural lunch meat wrapped around avocado -egg white "muffins" -edamame -veggies and hummus

I also like turkey pepperoni.

I haven’t kept up with this thread because I fell off the wagon. Hard. Then it rolled over me. I gained back over half of what I lost last fall and I’m so disgusted with myself! I finally cancelled my weight watchers membership since I hadn’t logged in since November.
For me, I get success from monitoring and tracking what I eat. What do you all use/like for that?

After I do my exercise tonight I will have completed 4 weeks of BBG. I haven’t lost any weight, well maybe a pound, but my work pants this weekend aren’t as tight as normal so something is happening!

jewels I used My Fitness Pal. It's a free app and syncs to most activity trackers and has tons of food in their database.

I haven't read everything yet, I'll try to work through the thread tomorrow.
I started doing those Jessica Smith walking videos (30-40 minutes) and a 10 ish minute Blogilates arm video everyday. I figured that is a good way to ease back into activity. I'll do more after my 6 week PP check-up and I'm trying to decide if I want to try Buti Yoga, Beach Body on Demand, or something else?
I need to figure out some meal Plan and/or calorie tracking app. I sort of poked around with MFP for a few days but I didn't like it.

What's BBG? Bikini body guide. The app is called “sweat” it’s a 12 week circuit program, you do the strength training exercises 3x a week and low impact cardio on your own 3 days a week. I like it a lot. The app does cost money. ETA: the app also has a meal planning included with recipes and shopping lists. I’m pretty sure you can tell it any dietary restrictions (like that you’re vegan) and it’ll modify it.

I'll go back to my boot camp workouts and thinking I'll do bikini body mommy as well. Still trying to figure out diet. May start Zone, which my mom and her trainer love.

I'm starting with itrackbites this week. It had a small fee but is basically a free/ cheap version of weight watchers. Even has a beer and wine list if that doesn't work for me I am going to do mfp or a 30day keto plan I'm also trying out my Samsung Health app
