The surge is brutal but it gets real results! Great job Sunny41 ! you did the diet as well didn't you? the surge really isn't that bad, it is the diet that is hard because of the keto flu. Basically it is trying to up your metabolism by adding a 2nd workout (the surge one in addition to your 20min cardio) and keto is to kick your body into fat burning instead of glucose burning. Honestly since it is a 7day thing I am on board. But I realized early with 7.0 that i just don't like working out everyday even if it is just 20min. I would rather do 2-3days with an hour workout. I just get so sweaty and I hate washing my hair everyday.

I'm trying to be good about my eating and my coworker keeps getting pissed that I won't go to Pluckers with her (wing place) during lunch. Same coworker keeps telling me she wants to lose weight and doens't know what to do. Uh, stop going to Pluckers for lunch would be a good start. I just feel like she is trying to sabotage me. I told her earlier this week (yes, this will be her second time this week) that I'm sticking with the salads I bring for lunch, so then she asked again today and told me there are coupons on the bulletin board. This isn't about money, it's about weight and self control, I'm not ready to go to a wing joint during lunch.

I try to do it one day a week, at the most.

Since you have already settled on what to order you won't be as tempted. No one needs coworkers or spouses as saboteurs I really like this site as a reference. It has a heart for healthy options and has WW point info. Even if you aren't doing WW it is a good gauge of how bad a food is. fastfoodnutrition.org/

Sunny41 makes a great point! Looking online and deciding what to eat is smart, I should have done that yesterday before I had Greek for lunch, but it was so good! I try to do that as well (usually), or at least google healthy options at whatever place we are going. although I'm guessing a chicken wing place probably doesn't have a lot of healthy options! Hopefully they would have something grilled.

I'm back on overnight oats for a few weeks. I was getting burnt out on the daily lunch salads. I grocery shopped this past weekend and didn't buy any crap food, just fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts, and dinner stuff. MH was not a fan of the roasted veggie quinoa power bowls I made for dinner last night. I told him it was healthy and he said it tasted like it. He didn't ask for the leftovers. My walking is down, other than Saturday when I overdid it by working outside in the heat and ended up getting a bit sick. Water consumption is about the same. I am allowing myself soda on the weekends because I can't seem to cut it completely just yet.

Lol klong11 My H would have the same response if I made that for dinner too. You're helping him get healthier too! I haven't been good about posting in this thread, but I have continued to fill out my spreadsheet and send to my boss (accountability person). I'm still 1lb short of 25, I seem to have stalled out, I am being less strict on the weekends, just making smarter decisions, but during the week, I try to eat less than 1200 calories and I'm working out 5-6 days a week. I think I'm just leveling out to 1 to 2 lbs per week, which is healthy. How is the bike klong11?

mwhip it's good. I've only had time for maybe 1-2 times a week, but I'm hoping to better work it into my schedule.

I just weighed myself and it was bad news bears. I am going to start doing BBG (bikini body guide) because mellochello recommended it and a blogger I follow has been doing it and lost quite a bit of weight inches in a short time. It’s either $20/month or $119/ year. I’m going to start with one month and see how that goes. I’ve been trying to do better with portions and food choices but it seems like one slip up leads to eating 6 cookies in one day.

Also, I try not to complain about my weight much because I know it’s all up to me and it annoys me when other people do it.

I've got the workout itch. I'm also very curious what my weight is now. I'm giving myself until A discharges and then I'll reign in my eating. It hasn't been terrible cause nothing sounds great anyway. The frozen yogurt with ppenut butter cups at every lunch and dinner may catch up to me though!

I’m here and I’m so ready. I’m glad I took the last six weeks easy and just enjoyed my time with S being home, but with him back at work I’m ready to buckle down. I started back at the gym last week, 30 minutes of cardio and 30-45 minutes of weights. I’m also still trying to walk ryland either to or from school a few times a week, and I started bikini body mama 6.0 yesterday. Food wise, I eat pretty healthy, my two downfalls are alcohol and snacking at night. So no more beer during the week and no more snacking after the kids go to bed. I took measurements and pictures yesterday, and while I don’t feel good about them I know what I need to do to see results. Thankfully breastfeeding helps me drop weight quickly, so I’m only a few pounds above pre pregnancy and about 8 from where I ultimately want to be. But lots of Toning need to happen!

mwhip still losing is great. If you reach a plateau consider spending 1 week working out everyday and working out double. That is half the BBM surge plan. By doubling the workout you kick your body into a higher metabolism but you don't have to stay at that peak. Just my .02 but I'm not a professional.

There is no way I could run 6! I think I'll just have to switch up my workouts, probably do more weight training.

But don't continue long term, just a week or 2 to increase metabolism. It didn't have to be at the same time as the run. And telling yourself "just 7 days" makes it doable

You should be so proud. Stalling is going to happen, just keep going, making changes and improvements along the way.

So I had a long CTJ with myself about changes that I need to make and what that looks like. So now, I get up in the morning at 5.15am to do BBM 5.0 in my basement and I'm using the app Lose It! to track my calories. I'm on just over 1300 calories per day and I 'get' more by working out. It's been working really well and I'm down 3 lbs in about 2.5 weeks.

So we've moved out Meixco trip from March ( I would have been pregnant- no body concerns) to September..... I need to get fit! Starting today! I'm drinking a protein shake for breakfast, will have one and a salad for lunch. One coke a day. Healthy dinner. Every night! Starting the surge today and then after that is over I will continue with where I left on in BBM 7.0. I can do this!

I'm down 40lb from this summer. I'd like to drop another 10lb. I'm trying to make smarter meal choices without stressing myself out too much since my baby is only 12 days old and we are doing the hospital life. I need to figure out when I can start working out again, that'll help!

I found out I weigh the same as my mother. Only she was 20lbs lighter a month ago, but her new meds after her stroke are causing her to gain weight. She has an excuse, I don't. I'm doing better in terms of junk food though. There just isn't any in the house, so I'm not tempted.

My diet went to shit this weekend, so I'm back on the wagon! Protein shake for breakfast, turkey and cheese (with a few crackers) for lunch and salad for dinner, since H will be out of town. And the gym today.
I haven't worked out since Thursday and I feel like a sloth already! I have to keep moving or my energy/motivation plummets quickly.

I'm still being consistent with workouts, about 5-6 days a week and still not much physical change. I've got DH on the hook to do the advocare 10 day cleanse. Hopefully the products are here by Wednesday so we can start then, otherwise we'll have to wait a couple weeks because it will be impossible to cleanse over Easter. I'm a little leery of a cleanse, but I like this because it's still real foods but limited grains and no alcohol. I really think that's all we need and hopefully it will be a good jumpstart.

It’s not either actually. There’s an app on the App Store called “sweat” and it’s on there. It’s circuit training. You do 3 days of resistance training (legs, abs/arms, and full body) and then the other days you do cardio on your own. Today I did legs. It is a paid subscription as well.
