slenle, klong11, take measurements and don't rely only on the scale. Losing inches in my extra large boobs was the better than any number on the scale!

Still trucking along with almost zero evidence.... 😒 I took progress pics yesterday and there is a teeeeeny tiny difference. Maybe. Scale remains unchanged. Ugh. You should do measurements. It's nice to see that difference. I've lost 2" in my waist, which is motivating.

Nothing. I'm failing miserably! I'm starting fresh today. I'm not worrying about my diet really until I'm working from home.

They were all over the place each time I measured so i gave up

My biggest issue right now is that my cousin and his girlfriend just moved in (don't even get me started..) and I hate HATE working out in front of people. My parents and A are bad enough, but I still do it. But I can't with them there.

I started the BBM 7 day surge yesterday. I'm pretty sure I had the keto flu by evening so I am upping my salt intake today. I think I am going to stick to keto for a few more weeks while MH is out of town so I don't binge on all the bad things. I have to drink 100oz of water each day and so far I am doing it by adding fresh lemons

And on your belly button, it's not going anywhere. And 6 inches below your knee.

That's one of the reasons I don't go to a gym. I want to be by myself in my own zone, not surrounded by people.

I have my accountability person take my measurements, I think it's really difficult to take them yourself. But yesterday when we did my thigh, we didn't measure correctly. We said next week, we will measure a certain number of inches up from the knee, to get the correct point. Like Sunny41 I measure at the largest part of the body part.

Also (TMI) but especially cardio, I fart a lot while I work out. I don't need an audience for that..

When I use our elliptical, Evie follows me and wants to talk the entire time. No kid, mom can't talk and work out at the same time. If I can still talk, I'm not working hard enough. I don't feel that way at the gym. I work too hard to pay attention to others, unless their annoying or the guys who grunt loud enough I can hear them over my ear buds, so I figure everyone else is doing the same. Plus, we are all there for the same purpose.

I may try to 'take care of business' before I head to the gym as well, just for that reason!

That's a lot of measurements Sunny41! I think I'd be tired after I finished that and never work out! I measure my right bicep, waist, hips, thigh and calf.

mwhip , way to go!! I'm down 2# and then I got a goddamn jelly donut on my way to work because I self sabotage. It's okay to get the jelly donut occasionally! You have to let yourself have the things you enjoy, if it's all strict dieting, I believe that's what sets you up for failure. Like last night, I had 1/4 of a double chocolate dipped oreo (it was as amazing as it sounds!). I don't feel guilty about it because I didn't sit down and eat the package, I just had a little bit. I can't deny myself forever!

Looks like January 18, I entered my weight into MFP, so just over 4 weeks. The first 10 lbs was mainly water weight, that's when I started increasing my water intake drastically. The rest has been diet and exercise, so I know I'm not going to continue to lose 20lbs a month, that isn't sustainable or healthy. I want to lose it so that I can also keep it off.

I weighed myself this morning and I'm officially down 20 lbs! I feel like celebrating with a cheeseburger and piece of cake.
Joking. Kind of.

mwhip Amazing Congrats! And according to most dietician a cheat meal every now and then is what makes it easier to stick to a diet. Just saying 😉.

Never deprive yourself of foods just because you are on a "diet", just make healthier versions of it.

Never deprive yourself of foods just because you are on a "diet", just make healthier versions of it. I have pinned a bunch of desserts on Pinterest I want to try, just need to get the ingredients. That way I don't feel like I'm depriving myself. And since I'd be making them with stuff my husband wouldn't usually expect, he most likely won't eat them, even if they are good! So an entire pan of brownies (made with black beans) all for me!

I was the only one who liked them, but I thought they were so good! My trainer also gave me a protein powder ice cream recipe if anyone's interested. I didn't LOVE it, but it did the trick.

wineallthetime I feel like black bean brownies might be better than chickpea, at least they're the right color? I don't know, I'll give it a whirl. If they suck, I'm out what, $2? I have come across lots of recipes that require protein powder. What kind does everyone use? I feel like the one I use for my protein shake isn't right? I don't know, I guess I just need to experiment, but I feel like protein powder is kind of pricey, so I do hate to waste it.
