guster Weekends are hard for me too. It's easier to keep myself in check when I'm at the office during the day and don't have access to my pantry. And if I go to the gym at lunch, I don't have time to go out to eat, unless it's Subway, since that's closest to my office. Once I get myself under control, I kind of take weekends off. Not like free reign, donuts, french fries and burgers all day, but I don't worry as much about counting calories, because I need to splurge occasionally. Just making smarter choices I guess. Awesome job klong11! My controller is going to take my measurements today, when I change to go to the gym (since I have on two layers). She's excited, I'm kind of nervous. Like putting it on paper makes it real. She already has my weight, which is embarassing to me. But I know she wants to help me and isn't going to be making fun.

I think that's what it might be. Maybe I won't pay as much attention to what meal we order in or eat out on Saturday night. Or if i eat well during the day and decide I want ice cream or a Starbucks flat white that night, I might just allow for it. It'll give me the push to get through the weekend the right way.

Did you deviate from your diet this week? I was really bad over the weekend with a friend in town but now I am ready to buckle down. On a scale of 1-10, what is your motivation level? I have been at a 3 but after my water aerobics class last night I am feeling it again. How many days did you work out last week? 1 How many days do you plan to work out next week? What are your hurdles for dieting and exercising? That isn't part of my spreadsheet, but I think having someone else help you with ideas might help? Anything else we should discuss? I have 25 left to lose and I need to get back to commitment. I would like to be close to that at the 1yr mark in May. I need to get back into BBM regularly this week. Drink more water is on my schedule

Sunny41 getting started is the hardest part! Good job making it to water aerobics last night! Follow the water schedule I do. Make sure you have a large water bottle on your desk at work so no excuses (I currently have 2). Drink 8oz as soon as you get out of bed Drink 8-16oz an hour later (I do 16) Drink 8oz after each cup of coffee Drink 8oz 20 minutes before each meal Drink 16oz 2 hours before bed I also drink one 28oz bottle at least every 2 hours.

I can only drink water with flavor in it. I have a bright yellow cup at home that is about 24oz and same at work. Off to fill my cup

mwhip , so the 28oz every 2 hours is in addition to the other oz? Yes, I'm drinking like 120oz a day. Although since I'm drinking that much, I don't make sure I specifically drink 8 oz 20 minutes prior to a meal.

I think it was a week ago that I weighed myself and was mad, decided a change was necessary. Well, I weighed myself this morning and I'm down 6 lbs. Which I realize is too much for one week, but it's definitely motivating and I feel a lot better.

I have a plan to catch up with the healthy living BBM group since I got a week behind from being sick. It's a lot each day but I feel great doing it. I just have to do it for a week and then I'll be on a normal schedule. I did a fit test and cardio days last night. And an ab workout. And on top of that I started a butt challenge and don't want to stop it just because I need to double up. Next week is the last week for it so I know I can do it.

Here it is though in case anyone is interested. I found it on Pinterest and put it on a blank calendar so it can work for any month. I do it M-F.

peachsmama, are you using weights or do you skip the deadlifts?

peachsmama , are you using weights or do you skip the deadlifts? If my weights are handy, I'll use them. But I still do them without. I can still feel the muscles pulling in my legs/butt.

peachsmama , I think I'm going to start that challenge! Thanks for sharing! No problem! I printed it and have it in my bathroom. I'll do one thing each time I go in or do the whole thing in the morning if I have the time.

great job mwhip! 6 pounds is a lot for 1 week, but it was probably a lot of water weight since you increased your water intake so much. Keep up the good work!

I am not as sore as I expected after a hard workout last night, which makes me happy. I was afraid I overdid it.

How is everyone doing?
I did week 1 of insanity, no missed days. I really like that they are 40 minute workouts. An hour seems too hard to fit in and 20 minutes is not enough, 40 is great.
I was feeling good until I stuffed my face with sushi and booze this weekend. But I'm actually looking forward to going home and getting my workout in after work.

I'm down 3 lbs miraculously bc I had a milkshake and pizza Friday night. I try not to put any real focus on the number because I tend to fluctuate (and quite honestly I don't care what the number says) I don't feel any thinner and I haven't tried on a pair of my tighter jeans to see how they fit, so if I didn't step on the scale this morning I don't think I would have known.

Finally got my 10,000 steps in a day. It's been awhile. I'm really sore today due to my gardening escapades this weekend. I took Tylenol w/codeine last night before bed.
As far as progress....meh, my jeans were hard to get on this morning, but they just got washed yesterday, so I'm chalking it up to that and not weight gain. I'm probably just deluding myself.

I've had some weird issues coming to terms with my smaller body. Like some kind of body dysmorphia or something. I still have some 2xl shirts in rotation that I am just swimming in. So as part of my online order while at the gym last week I got a medium top and size 12 pants and they both fit! I was shocked and happy although still in some denial.
Nothing for exercise today but our stationary bike was delivered. DH is going to set it up on Thursday. I'm excited to have something at home to use when C goes to bed.

I really wish I were the type who would use an exercise bike/eliptical/treadmill/ect at home, but I'm just not. My friend runs 3 mi every day on her treadmill while her kids play. I would hop on that thing and run for 20 seconds before calling it a day.
