I’m still trying to decide if I should cancel Ethan eye appointment. They are suggesting people stay off the roads later but we should be back around noon. They are saying the afternoon/evening commute will be awful. They have no idea what amount of snow will get because if it shifts we could get more or less. Our county ranges from1-8 and if you go to the county directly south of us they are projected to get 8-12. Ugh

By the way, I waited like. 3 months for this appointment. I’ll think I’ll call when they open and see how soon i can get in if I reschedule but we were supposed go do this appointment in August.

jedi - I would call them to see how quick you could reschedule, but if it is another long wait - I'd go today. Especially if you'll be back home before the storm really hits and things get messy on the roads.

A was complaining this morning that her ear hurts. FX she isn't still complaining later.

Hi. I got a lot done this weekend. We went to the house to measure all the windows and then we cleared out our basement and boxed up the garage. H woke up on the wrong side of the bed yesterday and was being douchey so I ignored him most of the day. I boxed up some kitchen stuff that isn't used on the reg and also washed my car and H's truck (killing him with kindness).
I'm making the executive decision to skip the cruise for my 30th in August. It's going to cost too much money, especially after getting into the new house and all that.. So I'm looking into cheaper alternatives (AI in Mexico or something)..
Now to catch up around here.

A was complaining this morning that her ear hurts. FX she isn't still complaining later. FX it's not an EI.. I always give DD 1-2 days before I bring her in. Sometimes she's just looking for the attention, sometimes it actually is an EI. Never know with these kids.

P has a not great sounding cough. She doesn’t have a temp though (so I don’t think it’s something serious like the flu) and she’s otherwise happy, so I’m sending her into dc, but I think there’s a good chance they’ll call me after nap time. She runs warm when she first gets up from a nap, so if they take her temp then, they may send her home.

Hopefully they don't take her temp unless she is acting "off". She still has a cough, but it's not as frequent and doesn't sound as bad anymore.

coconutbacon, i hope they wait like 10 mins after nap time to take temp - i think most kids run warm after sleeping. FX the cough doesn't progress into anything worst.

Not sure if I mentioned but Ethan eye appt is about a 20-25 min drive. About 2 months ago it snowed lightly overnight..., maybe 1-2 inch and I thought the rds would be fine brcUse it had stopped snowing early early morning and I figured by 10 things would be fine. Roads sucked. Ugh...... I’m of really worried about the drive there but the drive back when it will have started snowing

I feel like that kid in the gif. Pregnancy constipation sucks. I just keep telling myself there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Only 3 more weeks!

girlonabike, I am doing all sorts of things regularly to ward off the constipation but I've had to use magnesium citrate as a last resort a couple of times. It really works, just start with a little bit though if you try it. My midwife rec'd it because it is like colace and uses osmosis to pull water into the digestive tract instead of working as a laxative does to stimulate things. It's just way stronger than colace. (in case you've never used it, I had never had any experience with it! I used way too much the first time and I was miserable....but not constipated any more) I was on a zpack last week, which actually had warnings about causing diarrhea. It did help me be able to go, so that was fine with me!

Let me tell you about my morning:
DH picked up a trip last minute. So I’m home with the kids, and I haven’t really been at work for 7 weeks.
E has terrible diarrhea, so I gave her a bath, and am washing all her bedding (thanks mattress cover!!!). DH is gone, I cannot miss work. My mom comes to get E and A flips out because he doesn’t have school, due to parent teacher conferences (he now hasn’t had a normal week of school since before Christmas).
I get to work, the computer needs to update and restart and I’m now locked out again. I’m now sitting in a team meeting where we are arguing about ethics, which is delightful because obviously we all agree. And I have nothing better to do to get ready for my meeting. Which will be observed because I’m on a coaching plan.
YAY MONDAY.

add me to the monday club. project is deadlined of next week - need to get huge shade structures up and the playground and site work. doable. until the shade structure was delivered today with 2 incorrect sized poles - we can't start rest of work until the poles go up. i have been dealing with this for the past hour at least....conference calls, double checking engineering against what's on site... is it 5 yet?

RunsforWineandCarbs FX it's not an EI infection! Betweenthelines have you checked out applevacations.com ? My aunt is a big shot travel agent and uses this company. They're awesome and generally have some pretty great deals. Also, for an AI, I think Mexico, Bahamas, and Jamaica are the cheapest. I loved Jamaica, personally Drive safely jedi!

Last week was a rough one, and the weekend was awful due to DD having a stomach bug. This morning isn't starting out great, but at least the kids are feeling better! I've got a busy week, but the sun is finally shining, and it's warmed up. I got my workout done, dinner in the Crock-Pot, and I cleaned the house yesterday, so I'm feeling on top of things!

I hope everyone's day gets better.
I'm tired even though I slept better than I have in a while. Yesterday was an emotionally draining day. But I have my anatomy scan this afternoon. I love being able to send the ultrasound pictures to the parents.

girlonabike pregnancy constipation was the bane of my existence. It sucked. I was constantly taking things to help me poop. DS2 has an appointment for a weight check right after lunch. We should probably grab some groceries afterwards.
