Thanks for the check in Lemon!
AF started Thursday. I started estrace Friday. I go in June 13th for a lining check and blood work. FET will probably be around June 20th. I have my support group tomorrow night which will be nice.

AFM: it's cd20 something 15dpo (best guess with OPK) cd1 should be tomorrow. IUI timing for June isn't going to work, MH will be OOT the days most likely to be IUI day. So, it's settled, June we will discuss and hopefully try EPP and maybe try follistim for July.

Thanks for the check in, lemonliz! Dogpaddle29, I hope all goes smoothly for you the next couple weeks! The 20th isn't too far away anymore! amberr, sorry you're missing June for IUI, but it sounds like you have a solid plan for July! AFM, ER tomorrow morning! The monitoring nurse yesterday said that they're estimating 6-10 eggs tomorrow, so I'm crossing my fingers they're right! That's right in the ball park of the numbers our RE wrote down when we had our initial meeting after diagnosis, so that definitely gives us confidence that he knows what he's talking about with low AMH! Oh, and when I first got my meds I remember asking you ladies if you knew what my 2 Nexium pills were for. Well, they had me take one last night after trigger and the other tonight. It's supposed to be preventative for some of the extra retrieval side effects, I guess. QOTW: Captain America

Thanks for the check-in, lemonliz! And yeah, I'm trying to make it difficult for everyone by changing my name... thanks to amberr for clarifying that Dogpaddle29, good luck with this cycle!! I hope the 20th comes quickly for you amberr, I'm sorry that a June IUI won't work out. Hope everything works out well for an EPP cycle! bonzo, hope your ER went/goes well this morning!! FX for you! AFM, not much new. Sitting at CD 30 something (I've lost track and am too lazy to check FF). Went to a new acupuncturist on Thursday. Have been working on cleaning up my diet and getting back on the ISWTE train. Just killing time while we wait for more testing and IVF #3. QOTW: I'm not a huge superhero fan, but I have to say that Christian Bale's Batman is pretty bad ass. I also like Iron Man, because of Robert Downey Jr. Basically, I choose my superheros based on the eye candy.

specter I need to clean up my diet. I was doing really well until this last month on our natural cycle. I fell off the wagon. Beer, soda, sugar. Oof. It's so hard to reel it back in!

I'm still just sitting over here waiting for cycle approval. I have an email into my RE to find out our status.
The estrogen isn't too bad except for the whoaboobs.
QOTW: I think the new Wonderwoman is my favorite! We're going to see it tonight.

I am writing this from my phone so I will need to do tags later.
I started estrace Friday. So now I am just waiting for CD1 which will probably be here the end of this week and then I will start stims. Everything seems to be lining up perfectly with the end of the school year. My last day of work before summer break is Friday. Yay!

Thanks for all the good thoughts yesterday! The ER went pretty well, they retrieved 6 eggs. We'll get a call from the embryologist later this morning to hear how many fertilized. We're doing ICSI, so hopefully all of them!
I had a rough recovery from the anesthesia though. After we got home, but while I was still a tad loopy, I got on GrubHub and ordered food. H is still kinda laughing at me for that, and I don't blame him! I still haven't been able to eat it though, because before it got here the nausea set in. I basically lived on Gatorade, water, rice and matzah for the rest of the day. I'm feeling way better today, so hopefully with lots more liquids and some more rest I'll be back to normal soon.

Thanks for the check-in, lemonliz. FX your insurance gives you the go ahead and you can start stimming. Dogpaddle29, I missed that you started Estrace Friday. FX for your fist lining check. Sorry a June IUI isn't going to work out, amberr. FX the EPP is what you need to have success. Hope you loved your new acupuncturist, specter. I was thinking about trying it for this cycle since they have one next to both RE's we have in mind. It's nice when they timing lines up perfectly, woodenshoes. Hope AF arrives on time. Hi lillee, so glad you made it over. How are you holding up? <3 I am rooting so hard for your two, bonzo. ((HUGS))

lillee! Hi!! woodenshoes - FX for you this cycle! And woohoo for summer break! lemonliz - "Whoaboobs" is my new favourite word. I'll definitely be adding it to my vocabulary. Please report back on how Wonderwoman is, I might have to drag H to go see it! bonzo - FX for all 6 eggs to fertilize! I'm sorry recovery from anesthesia has been so rough. My first IVF we did in Czech Republic and they did general anesthesia, and coming to after that and riding the bus back to our apartment was rough. But our home clinic does local anesthetic, and while I was pretty scared to be awake for ER, it was actually so cool to be able to watch everything on the big TV. And I went to work after leaving there. Too bad that's not such common practice :/ /pointless blabbering

Ok. So, I finally got an appointment with RE. But it's not til the 23! Ugh. That will be very close to 10dpo, that's still early enough to start EPP, right? And. I went ahead and called freedom for price quotes. And holy shiz on follistim. The lady told me they also use gonal and gave me pricing on that. Is there much difference in your opinion between the 2? Would gonal be an appropriate drug to discuss for IUI?

I had my two consults yesterday. I liked both doctors though I am leaning towards the second one.
The first RE wants me to do a saline sono as well as an ovarian assessment test. He also would like to do an endometrial receptivity assay. The ERA requires us to do a mock FET cycle. I take meds like I am going through a FET cycle and they test my lining on day 5 and 7 of PIO. So, not only will we have to pay $1600 for the biopsies, but we also have to pay for the cycle and meds.
Second RE does not think the ERA or ovarian assessment test is worth doing. He doesn't test FSH either. He suggests we proceed with another FET. The only testing he wants to repeat is STI, and some bloodwork. Oh, and a scratch before transfer. We discussed my unicornuate uterus in detail and we went over all of my previous cycles. He is very detailed. The things I was trying to push my current RE for he already does. He is open to using Viagra and already uses it for his patients with thin lining. I mentioned I had two painful transfers due to my cervix so he did a mock transfer at no charge yesterday.
So, now we need to decide who we want to cycle with. And whether we want to transfer one of our two remaining blasts or do another stim cycle. Being DOR, time is definitely not on our side.
Has anyone done the ERA? Or heard any pros/ cons in doing it?

specter, I updated in the IVF check in, but not this thread. Only 2 were mature and fertilized. amberr, we were planning on an FET anyway, so as long as the two grow to freezable blasts I don't know that we'd do another banking cycle right away. It's such a pain to try to schedule IVF with my work, since I don't want to be painting up on ladders while on stims. H and I have discussed a couple what-ifs, so depending on how this week goes we'll have a few ideas to talk about with our RE.

I've read some anecdotal opinions on one vs the other, but I don't know if there's any real weight to that. Either way, check out the manufacturer savings plans (Compassionate Care for Gonal F). It's an expensive drug, but the savings plan can definitely help some!

But the gonal from freedom comes with mail in rebates, so I'll prob be asking about doing it *if* RE will agree. Any idea how many days you use that for? It's not like clomid, right for? It's more than days 3-7?
