So, no experience with IUI, but Gonal F and Follistim are basically the same drug. I've read some anecdotal opinions on one vs the other, but I don't know if there's any real weight to that. Either way, check out the manufacturer savings plans (Compassionate Care for Gonal F). It's an expensive drug, but the savings plan can definitely help some! the follistim mfg coupon says for insurance patients only, nothing for uninsured. But the gonal from freedom comes with mail in rebates, so I'll prob be asking about doing it *if* RE will agree. Any idea how many days you use that for? It's not like clomid, right for? It's more than days 3-7? I was on the Gonal F from Day 3 to Day 12, stopping after trigger. I ended up going through 2 pens of 900, 2 of 450 (had to order a refill) plus about 300 extra that my nurse gave me that had been donated back. It's a lot!

babyhopes, I did the ERA. My RE suggested it for us because we had 6 failed transfers. He said that the test will determine if the uterus is receptive to implantation. It would also indicate if it was a day early or late for the transfer. My result on day 5 came back receptive so they did not test the day 7 sample. I hate hate hate endometrial biopsies, so I would suggest asking for pain meds if you decide to do the test.

Ok. So, I finally got an appointment with RE. But it's not til the 23! Ugh. That will be very close to 10dpo, that's still early enough to start EPP, right? And. I went ahead and called freedom for price quotes. And holy shiz on follistim. The lady told me they also use gonal and gave me pricing on that. Is there much difference in your opinion between the 2? Would gonal be an appropriate drug to discuss for IUI? They're interchangeable! I respond to both in the same way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We have decided not to go forward with the RE who suggested the ERA. And our new RE doesn't recommend it. He did say he would ask about it at the next convention he will be attending in July, so at least he is willing to look into to it. I was under during my last biopsy since it was done the same time as my hysteroscopy. My RE does the scratch and I'll be awake. I am not looking forward to it! Did you have your follow-up with your RE? If so, how did it go?

babyhopes, We had the follow up yesterday. He doesn't know why it hasn't worked for us. We've done all the testing and there isn't any other reason he knows of that would be the issue. The donor we used has been successful for others so maybe it's bad luck. I'm not sure what we are going to do next, if anything.

He has no hunches and no ideas about what he would do differently? Sigh.
