sands42 I'm sorry, that would be really disappointing. I think you are doing the right thing by considering the long term, though. FWIW, when my H and I were looking at new houses, we had to consider that my income fluctuates, so we went something on the lower end of our price range. I'm really happy that we did that now that I'm not going to be working as much.

wedding enjoy your day off at home! mwhip have you thought about doing dietbet or anything? I always found that I did better with my weight loss and accountability when there was money on the line! Lol. I won a “biggest loser” competition at work one year and got $250! guster I will be thinking of your family! Hope that your aunt still has lots of time with you all! Do you live close to her? Are you able to go see her at the hospital? yummeecookee love the hair and you pull off a turtleneck like a boss! If I wore one it would not go over so well. Also, love the red pants! You are my style icon! I'm laughing because I'm team no turtlenecks, but they are cute on other people. My boobs are way too big and a turtleneck makes them look 12 miles long. Your hair looks great, yummeecookee! Very flattering. But, you're always gorgeous!

My allergies are horrible today.
I'm off tomorrow for an OB appointment then a pedicure so it's my Friday.
I also made the best smoothie ever last night and I'm way more proud of it than I should be.

trtlcrzy When I lived in FL, my stylist blow dried my curly hair with a round brush to straighten it and I loved it. It's the only way I've blow dried my hair for the past 6-7 years. When my hair is long, it does take quite a bit of time. When I wash now, I usually just keep it in a towel for an hour or so before I start so it's not as wet and takes less time for me to do each section.

I meant to post this last night, but forgot. While I'm on the toilet, M comes into the bathroom. M: Momma, I have to go potty. Me: Why don't you go to your bathroom to use the potty? M: No, I'll just wait for you to wipe your booty. Me:uh...ok.

Anyone know of a miracle carpet cleaner for pets? My dog has been vomiting, and I tried spot cleaning and our carpet cleaner/vac, but I've still got a slight yellow stain on light colored carpet.

Has anyone tried the dockAtot? Is it worth the money? Cher? kim22? Haven’t tried one, but for sure am getting one next time! Same here! Totally getting it from eBay, though.

Do I need to go in search of this cuisine? Yes. Get the chicken caesar with bacon. You won’t be sorry. ETA: they have really good fountain sodas, too, which is another way I judge fast food. Their Coke is always very syrupy. 👍🏻👍🏻

dapostrophe T&Ps for your carpet. Our lab threw up on the carpet in our master at our last house; I could never get it out completely. Fortunately it was old and we were planning to replace it a couple months later. I’d probably call in a professional to clean it if you don’t have luck yourself—the guy I used in FL was a miracle worker.

I haven't had Pita Pit in 11 years, but I remember it being sooooo good. I was more than likely drunk each time I had it though, so I'm not sure how much my opinion matters. I remember always getting pineapple on it.

Pita Pit is a gift from the gods. I love that place. Good cookies too. I get very excited about being able to pick my own toppings from a huge selection. I always pick the weirdest crap but I don't let others' judgment ruin my amazing sandwich. I had one right near my school when I was in grad school but I was so poor I'd usually only eat out once a semester. So 3 glorious times a year I was treated to a wrap from heaven.

Last night on a lark I took the girls to check out a free ukulele lesson. It...did not go well. Maddie went into her a-hole pouting mode when she didn't master it in 10 minutes and Cass started being a turd and not being careful with the uke. So my dreams of my children creating a luau for me are crushed but at least I figured out they aren't mature enough yet before shelling out money for ukes. MH and I also cleaned underneath our bed. It was horrific. Somehow my cat managed to get his fur practically ingrained into the carpet. Denver usually doesn't even go under the bed unless we're vacuuming...which isn't often. Feels good that it's done but it's one of those mega tasks no one can see and appreciate because the results are hidden from sight. But I know it's done dammit.

I don’t really care for Taco Bell...but will totally go there occasionally because they have THE.BEST.PEPSI! I’ve even been known to get just a Pepsi from there, then go through another drive thru for food #lazybutgoodpepsimatters.

I let my hair dry in a turby twist for a while and then let it air dry after that. My hair is mostly dry when I do my blowout. So good! My hair is really thick so I have to do it in like 3 or 4 sections.

Nothing like opening my Dad's water bill and seeing a $200+ amount to pay. This tells me there is a water leak/beak somewhere. I've messaged the neighbors to see if they can go over and turn the water off at the main valve. UGH!

I don’t have a pet but I’ve heard good things about nature’s miracle. But any enzyme cleaner should do the trick.

Also, I’ve never heard of Pita Pit. But now I’m going to have to see if there are any in The STL area. And speaking of pitas...I used to work at a restaurant called Olga’s Kitchen. The one I used to work at closed and I miss it! They had the best little appetizer called snackers. It was pita bread cut into wedges, lightly fried and seasoned. Then served with a Swiss almond cheese. I miss them! I think most of their locations are in MI. wineallthetime have you heard of it?
