Ugh he nursing battles continue. He slept from 10-4 and you’d think after going that long he would be ravenous and nurse really well. But it’s a battle STILL. I’m so over this stuffy nose crap.

Tonight did not go so well. Her best stretch of sleep is like 7/8 until her first wake up but it’s really too early for me to enjoy. Wake ups at 11:30, 1:30, 3:30 and 5:45. And now I just heard the toddler get up and it’s 6. I tried to get DH up to do the 5:30 but he gave me attitude and wouldn’t sit up to feed her so he kept nodding off while she cried. Maybe I just need to start taking melatonin or Tylenol pm and go to bed when she does.

Tonight has been the absolute worst. It all started when M was insanely over tired so it took me a good two hours to get him down. Since then he has been fussing and waking every 30 minutes. I managed to fall asleep around 115 and it's now ten after 4 and I've been up two more times since. Legit dying over here

sarahh I’m sorry that sounds really rough. And I’m sorry that DH was giving you attitude. I try not to bother my DH in the MOTN, but if we’d been up that much, yeah... Baby was tough to get to bed, but we were asleep by 10:30. She woke up screaming at 11:45 though and was spitting up. Managed to get her back asleep by 12:30 and she slept until 6. Wonder what bothered her so much though.

Bad night for us too. Group hug. The older this baby gets each day the worse her sleep gets. I’m really frustrated and tired. But I’m one of many! sarahh my heart goes out to you. That’s like a just came home from the hospital night. Not a back to work, have another kid to care for type of thing. I would be in pieces. I’m barely coping with what I have going on here. I hope she turns a corner for you just like that. It does happen out of nowhere sometimes. 🤞❤️

+1 to what the other said sarahh, but just know that you are doing so much better than I ever could. Sending you all the sleep vibes and hugs. You deserve all the treats!

Thanks guys. I’m somehow making it through. I was hoping by his time she would sleep some longer stretches consistently but it’s just not happening.

I’m exhausted and losing my fuse way to easy right now. Ds2 has been wide awake and screams every time I LSU him down. H dropped one of my pump flanges and broke it so now I have gi single side pump each side until I can get a new one in 2 days. I’m sobbing because I can barely fit in my pumping as it is and now my time is doubled.

kbw so sorry! That’s so dang frustrating. C section mom’s: how long did you bleed for? 4 1/2 weeks later and I’m still wearing a panty liner. Not sure if my period lined up or what...

Ugh H just slept for 3 hours and would only take 2 oz from the bottle. He normally sleeps a minimum of 4 hours for the first stretch and will eat at least double that. So I know he won’t sleep long before being up again. Probably going to be a night with lots of wake ups.

watermelonseed with my first c I had bleeding which lasted between 5-6 weeks. Nothing heavy but it was annoying to still have to wear a liner. This time around bleeding was completely gone by 3 weeks.

Tonight was the first night I was genuinely annoyed with M. Usually I can keep my cool but he woke up after a transfer after I had waited a good 20 minutes and know for sure he was sleeping. I feel bad now but dudeeee I want to sleep more. DS1 was also a total pain to get to bed. Took over 2 hours and I totally fell asleep in his bed before he did

watermelonseed I had a vaginal birth and I’m still wearing a panty liner. My bleeding almost gone but just enough to need a liner.

She slept for 5 hours! What a difference drinking a full bottle makes! I know better than to think this is going to start a trend.

We had a rough night. Our first stretch was the longest at... 2.5 hours?
I think she's not happy with something I'm eating. She seems in srs discomfort and her belly feels hard. Good thing ped appt is today.
She also eats a lot and then milk comes RIGHT back up like not even digested. So I've got a few things to ask the ped today.

Well I put DS back in the PNP tonight (he has been in the RNP bc of his cold) because he has had a few good days now & I think he is on the upswing. Also he just looks huge in the RNP so I feel like his days are numbered & I need one less transition to worry about. FX for a good night, we have a freeze warning here so I hope the dry air from the heater doesn’t bother him :/
Good luck to you all tonight!!

I hope this means everyone is sleeping??? 🙌🏼🙌🏼 DS made it in the PNP from 10-1:30. Then I gave him a paci & loved him to the RNP lol. He slept until 4. I’m feeding him & frying the PNP again bc he really wasn’t that congested at 1:30 just got fussy and wouldn’t settle down until I put him in the RNP & turned the vibrate on.

DS2 was really fussy when I put him in the crib last night. H put him in the swing and he just slept from 10:30-4:30. That’s the longest stretch we’ve ever gotten.

We rebounded last night too, in a very big way!
Yesterday was so awful I actually prayed to my dead Grandma and then cried the moment H walked in the door. Baby’s do this. Just whenyou are like I CANNOT take it anymore they perform a grand gesture.
I still feel like I need to sleep for 72 hours straight.

Is everyone sleeping soundly? I sure hope so.
P went to sleep at 7, got up to eat at 10 then up again to eat at 1:20am. Normally after this it’s s crap shoot. Please make it another 3 hrs.

Haven’t seen the MOTN in over a week. That’s the last time I let H get her ready for bed. Lol. She was completely out of the swaddle that her and DD3 have never broken out of. Also she slept a ton yesterday and had only nursed 4 times so I kind of expected a wake up. Usually she doesn’t nap THAT well.

Just woke & fed him. He is doing great in the PNP. My humidifier comes on Saturday so hopefully that helps even more— I am pretty sure he only woke up this time bc he was stuffy. He didn’t nurse well at all & fell right back to sleep.

This is the second day in a row that he has gotten up before 6. Yesterday it was 5, today 4:30. Yesterday he just needed to be soothed and went right back down. Today required a feeding. I can’t complain about his sleep because he has been amazing but after all the screaming last night, I could use some more sleep.

The baby has broken out of his swaddle two days in a row now. This occurs between 4:30 and 5am and results in him being pissed off and hungry. I miss when he used to sleep past six.
