Sleep has been getting better in our house. I hope I don’t jinx it by saying that. We have 2 wake ups - first around 12:30 and second around 4:30. Today I didn’t go back to sleep after the second because I got sucked into be safe sleep Facebook group and then obsessively listened to DD2s breathing after that.

I jinxed it. Back to wake ups every 3 hours. She’s drinking full bottles every feeding which is odd for her so I’m thinking growth spurt. We are 5 days out from a wonder week leap and a little over a week out from a growth spurt according to kellymom.

Wakeups are about as they have always been in my house but she is so much more restless during them! I used to nurse her to sleep and she would transfer easily and that is not so much the case any more. Luckily DH deals with putting her back to sleep after I have nursed her.

I’ve been trying to get baby down for the night for over two hours. I’m not sure what her deal is. She’s been asleep twice. Diaper is dry, we’re nirsing again. Come on kid!!

Ugh H just slept for 2.5 hours. Can he please go back to the 4-5 hours he was doing a week ago? Man I’m tired. He’s drinking 4 oz at each wake up so I guess at least I know he isn’t just getting up for comfort.

He fell asleep eating so I laid him down. Went to the washroom and when I got back he’s was wide awake! I think this is going to be a long night....

We are doing better tonight. Last night she never settled after 1:30 wake up. That was rough. For tonight, we are on second wake up, more like the usual with actual sleep in between.

We did a dream feed at 10 and he just woke up at 4:455. We’re eondering if he has silent reflux. The spitting up from his newborn days has pretty much stopped but he’s got the hiccups a lot and will only sleep decently if he’s more upright so he’s been sleeping in the seat for his swing each night.

I hope you eventually got some sleep. I started bedtime at 8:15 and I think we were both finally asleep at 11:10. Thankfully she slept 6 hours after that.

It took 20 minutes but H finally put himself back to sleep after eating. Normally I have to rock him. Here’s hoping he’s able to do it again at the next feeding without screaming. Maybe he’ll get better at this before I go back to work in 2 and a half weeks!

V is just killing me with the last couple of nights. She doesn't really settle after about 1am. At least she has a solid 4 hour stretch to start-yay?

Most nights she is tough to settle after 2/3. We have nights where she only catnaps for like 20/30 mins after waking. If we see progress/find a solution let’s share tips!

12:08am. Baby has been asleep for 2.5 hours. I was up personalizing pillowcases for DD1s birthday party. Why do I decide to do dumb things like this? 😜 Hoping baby sleeps well so I can snooze. Goodnight!

DD2 ate at 6:30pm then promptly went to bed. 4 hr stretch then 3 1/2 after easily going back down. I’ll take it.
The next part of the night is normally the challenge though...

Omg. Might punch my dog. Woke up at 3 to nurse DS and I’m trying t go back to sleep & my dog is barking bc he is thirsty or has to pee or who knows what. I’m so irritated I just want to sleep. And DH is in the guest room so he can’t hear the dog so it’s all me 😭

Gee zas. It took from 9:15-11:40 to finally get baby settled for the night. And now it’s 12:20. And she’s awake again.
Da fuq? She slept 9 hours the last two nights so I should not complain, but also, WTH? I can’t wait to actually sleep.

Horrible night. Many wakeups. When will this kid start consistently sleeping better? We get teased with one wakeup and then numerous nights of many wakeups

Why are 90 minute wake ups this kids jam??? Plus the random hour we were up at 230 am. Omg. If I didn't already have a kid I would think I would die from the amount of sleep I'm lacking.

Horrible night. Many wakeups. When will this kid start consistently sleeping better? We get teased with one wakeup and then numerous nights of many wakeups The tea is called Babies Magic Tea. You can get it on Amazon. Since you are FF you’d have to be comfortable giving it to him. Like an Oz mixed in a bottle. We’ve had really good sleep 3 nights in a row. It could be her reflux meds kicking in, my switch to gerber soothe probiotics, General getting older, Magic, etc. I can’t say for sure it’s the tea but I’m not willing to skip it to find out!

L had been refusing to go to sleep the past few early evenings And it’s been tough. H had to deal with it tonight when I went out with a few girls and he didn’t handle it well. I came home nursed him and he was out in 10 minutes. Fx he sleeps for a bit. I should go to sleep now myself.
