Second wake up tonight, not bad. Her nights are getting better and better as it has been more days that I'm off dairy so maybe that helps?! Toddler is still asleep too. :knocksonwood:

Hi!!
I'm letting O go the longest stretches at night (3hr) so we can try to immediately distinguish night and day. So that's been cool. She just gave me 3 hours. We're eating and then a little sleep before her sister wks up.
I forgot how much I leak. Plus side lie and I guess it's time to test out the shampooer on the furniture!! Whoops. MH grabbed me a blanket but, the last stretch left a good puddle on the couch. Eep.

I think my baby just STTN 😮. She went 10:30 to 5:45!!! Our heat coming back on might have had something to do with it.

Yay bassa! We went from 9:30 to 5:15 without a feeding, but she was noisy starting around 2am. I kept falling back asleep and she wasn’t screaming so I assume it’s ok? She is right next to my bed, I figure if she was starving I’d know right? She’s usually in bed right around 10 and in general gives us a good stretch, but from 8-10 is still a super fussy time. Soon I’d like to move bedtime earlier, so maybe DH and I can have some time together during the day, or at least 30 minutes where I don’t feel like I’m on kid duty. But so far she is almost always awake and pissed during those hours.

So Friday night was a fluke and we’re back to tons of wake ups. DH handled until 1 so no clue how may were between when i fell asleep at 9:30 and then. For me she was up at 1,2,4 and 6 and is now passed out.
I’ve been fighting a cold or something since Wednesday which is probably not being helped by my lack of sleep lately.

Friday night was also a fluke with J's good sleep.
Last night he was up every 2-3 hours to eat

I am jealous of all these babies STTN or really close.
We have gotten one 6 hour stretch but most nights he is up every 2-3 hours.

Also thrilled with the 3-3.5 hours stretches here. Hoping that she’s 3 weeks old the MOTN poops are done and gaps get a little better.

I haven’t had a decent non-co-sleeping stretch in a week. I had been getting 4 hours with him in the RNP and now I maybe get 2 if I’m lucky. He’s sound asleep in there for now so I’m hoping not to see the clock again until at least 2!!

Trying the RnP tonight so I can quit Co sleeping on the couch. I haven't had coffee since 11 and my spinal headache has not really returned so fx thsts gone. That's a big reason for still couch sleeping
We fell asleep on the couch so we're just going to bed now. She's on the RnP and I'm on the couch.. And fx tomorrow I'll be in my bed ❤️

We got two 4 hour stretches last night instead of the usual 3. Downfall is he’s wide awake at 4:30.

Is everyone asleep?! Usually this thread is hopping by now!
DD didn't poop today and I think is in some GI distress. She also is having a tough breathing day - she has narrow nasal passages and seems to be struggling tonight. I banished DH to the guest room so he could get some quality sleep.

Oops. I accidentally used the same side to feed dd2 twice. Eeeeep?
We are doing great using the bassinet though. So I'm ordering a small one for the room.

I am up. I have been up just about every hour. Not because of feedings though. The baby has been very very restless tonight. He is usually really good all night but I think getting his shots today and having some congestion is making sleep difficult for him. He is up now which is two hours earlier than usual. I gave him a bottle and he puked about half of it out in two shots. Thankfully I happened to have a towel in my hand and it caught it all. On top of all of this, my first pp period is a doozy and I feel awful. I’m going to swaddle him and attempt to put him back to bed. Hopefully he sleeps a little more.

We were on the go yesterday so baby didn’t get any real solid naps. She has been asleep since 10:30, it’s 5:30, and now I’m awake for no good reason. I want to get up and run but ouch boobs. And I know if I take all the time to pump and stuff I won’t finish my run before she decides to wake up. 🤷🏼♀️

We’ve been going to bed earlier trying to catch up on sleep.ds2 is apparently trying to laugh at us though as the last 2 nights he’s been awake for an hour and a half after his last motn feeding. He won’t stay calm either unless he’s being held he hates to be laying down when he’s awake.

I had a salad last night with cheese on it and she really had an upset tummy during the night, so that supports that she can't tolerate it well. I can trade dairy for sleep!
So I've pretty much been up since 3:30am. Hoping for a nap with her on the couch.

Strange but true...nursing in the MOTN also seems to make ME have to poop. Anyone else or am I just weird?

L was waking every 1.5-2 hours Out of desperation at 4am I came down to the living room to put L in the swing. He slept for 3.5 hours. Oh why do you love your swing. I think I am going to pull out the pnp today and see how he does. I am tired.

Ugh. I wonder if DD gave her cold to DS. He is sooo congested tonight & it’s been a long time since he was last congested. I just sucked so many boogers from the poor guy’s nose

Up for the first time tonight, H just slept 6 hours for the first time!!! This is only the third time he’s gone more than 3! Hopefully it’s not a fluke, he had the worst naps yesterday and was pretty fussy. I’ll just pretend he was fine yesterday and this is the new normal lol.

Hi! I’m up and showered. I went out with some family last night and MH stayed home to put the kiddos to bed. I got to bed around 11:40 and knocked right out so I got around 6 hours of sleep.

Moms of FF babies, how do you get your baby to take a full bottle at bedtime? DD2 is 10 weeks today and was a good eater from birth to about 5 weeks (she was combo fed back then) but has been a snacker since. Normal bottle for her is 3-4 oz but at night she will only drink an oz or 2 which leads to more frequent wake ups. I’ve tried diaper change, dim light, extra burping but she still drinks a little then falls back to sleep. DH got her to drink 4 oz one time and she slept for almost 5 hours so I know she has it in her. Now that I’m back at work I would love a few longer stretches since when she falls asleep I am still awake for a bit so if it’s 2 hours between wake ups I’m really only sleeping like one hour at a time.
ETA we’ve been making sure there is more awake time when I get home from work in hopes that she will sleep better but so far no change.
