snowyowl we were having lots of problems with leaks in Pampers, tried seventh generation, and ultimately settled on Huggies. Initially tried just going up a size in Pampers and that didn’t work for us either. We had the exact same problem, but other way around. Huggies leaked like crazy but haven’t had any problems yet with Pampers. I tried the Huggies multiple times over 5 weeks and he kept getting pee on everything. Finally gave up and sold on Facebook the huge amount of Huggies that had been gifted to us. snowyowl, definitely try out another brand if another size doesn’t work.

Dang I really liked it when I didn’t see the 3am hour. After 10 good nights we’ve now had 2 bad ones. You are not alone. I’m going to stick w my routine that was getting us the 5-8 hour stretch’s for one more night than shake it up if tonight still blows.

The girls are both having a good night (no toddler wake-ups, and 4.5 then 3.5 hour baby stretches) so of course there has to be something else waking me up. Turns out our cat caught a mouse inside a large cardboard box and was playing with it. VERY LOUD. I woke up H to take care of it, since from the sound I didn’t know if a raccoon had gotten in or something. Ew! This is unfortunate for many reasons! I love cats but NO to the mouse play.

Baby V was so gassy and grunty and uncomfortable last night! I'm going to try giving up dairy to see if that helps her. I did it with DS for a few months too and I think it made a difference, although I'll never know for sure! My middle kiddo was like this and honestly we just moved her to her own bedroom at that point 😂🤷 if she is sleeping fine and just noisy that might help! Because no one should have to willingly give up cheese. That's the thing...she couldn't sleep at all, poor thing. I did ok with it before so I don't mind trying.

We saw every 2 hours of last night. Yawn, coffee please. The worst! When you hear the cry, and look at the clock and realize you haven’t even been sleeping for 2 hours... so awful.

I’d go peek at him & he would be fast asleep but still sooo loud. I need to get him out of here ASAP but the only other room is DD’s so idk haha. Maybe our guest room.

DS has slept through 99% of today. I'm frightened about tonight. I feel like I’m going to be in this boat as well. He slept most of the day. Most nights, by this time he is asleep for about an hour. Tonight he has already cried once. I thought he was hungry. I changed him and attempted to feed him...he projectile vomited all over my pillow, himself and my hand. After getting everything cleaned up and changed, he wasn’t hungry. At least I don’t think he is. I’m in bed. I can hear him sucking on his paci. It’s getting slower so hopefully he is falling asleep. I’m so tired already.

Night #2 over here and the expected cluster feeding has begun. But we have a game plan this time so I feel more prepared.

Ughhh I can’t get him to stay down in the RNP. I can barely keep my eyes open. Co-sleeping kills my hips so I really need the first long stretch with my bed to myself. If this next transfer doesn’t work I’ll just have to give up and let him stay in bed because I must sleep.

Our power has been out since 10 😭 He gave us a 4 hour stretch but I can't sleep because of the cold...I hope it's back on soon because our house is freezing!

I just spent the last hour watching my snorting baby to see if he was just extra snorty or if he was having trouble breathing. I got him down to his diaper to watch his chest. Seems fine. Nostrils seemed a little flared but then he sneezed and a big booger came out. So I think I can go back to sleep now.
When is spring please?

I'm excited he is finally sleeping but wish I could be too!!

After taking an hour to fall asleep, DS is finally being good to me. Currently nursing our first time of the night, after a 4 hour stretch. Hopefully I don’t see him again until we are up for the day.

V is having a better night...might be the cheese after all. I'm hoping it just ends up being obvious dairy if that really is a factor. One day isn't enough to tell but this is a good start.

Well we made it through night 2. Somehow I managed an hour and a half of broken sleep. Eep. We were still in hospital on night 2. I had the nurse take V yo the nursery from like 3am-5am. When I went in there to get her, I was still so out of it, I went to the wrong baby and started talking to her like she was mine...
