The last stretch of sleep was only an hour and 45 minutes. I woke up at least 5 times during that time because of my husband’s snoring. So the baby and I are now in the guest room. I think the snoring is getting worse so starting tomorrow, I’m kicking him to the guest room until there is some improvement.
I feel bad saying it, but if he were to lose 15lbs, the snoring would go away. So I think we’re going to have to have a serious conversation about working together at healthy living. Sleeping in separate rooms is not ideal but I can’t handle the no sleep.

MH gained almost the same amount I did during both pregnancies but he didn’t lose much in between. He didn’t snore when we first started living together. Now he snores most nights. He started with a cpap machine last night. He needs a few days to get used to it. Unfortunately because he was so uncomfortable he tossed and turned a lot. That means I didn’t sleep much because I am a light sleeper. I slept for 15 minutes, was up aaaallllllll night and then slept maybe 45 minutes more after he got out of bed for work. I am exhausted.

Sorry you got very little sleep as well. I would normally be able to sleep through it if I just fell asleep at 10pm and slept for 8 hours. But getting up every couple of hours, I can’t fall back asleep with all the noise. He felt pretty bad when he found me not in the bed this morning. We lost a fair amount of weight together 4 years ago and the snoring disappeared. But just like your husband, he gained a bunch while I was pregnant. So I’m hoping we can do it together again.

MH and I started a weight loss plan on Thursday. I meal prepped lunches for the week and we have had no junk food in the house. He lost 5lbs already. 😊

marygracerich That’s awesome! Although not fair how quickly men lose weight lol. I started tracking my calories and cutting back on junk on Friday but won’t weigh myself again until the end of the week. Just need to add in some exercise. I’ve been texting my husband this morning and he said he’s on board. So I’m hoping for the best!

30,000 steps today and I didn’t even go for a run. Chalked then all up pacing the house with a baby. It overcounts when I’m bouncing but still. My feet and back are killing me. Hope she sleeps and everyone else gets some sleep! Impressive with the step count!

I'm here already. DS is sleeping and making souch noise! He's snorting and crying and farting, all at the same time, in his sleep. I'm so worried he will wake up from it! And it's so loud h is sleeping in the guest room.

Our nurses name is the name we have (basically) picked out for DD2. Very ironic lol.

I am nursing L and trying to get him down. H was in a mood when he got home and of course caused an argument. I really need to figure out how to get us sleeping together again bc it’s really effecting our closeness. He’s also going OOT this weekend which I am not looking forward to.

Oh hey 3am. Haven’t seen you in a while. Got just over a 5 hour stretch, but she went down earlier than usual. I have a feeling this will make our day interesting.
Also I need a hair bow intervention. I can’t stop. 🙈

Also I need a hair bow intervention. I can’t stop. 🙈 I am the opposite. G has always had a ton of hair and I never buy her hair accessories. I really need to start. At not even 3, her hair is way passed her shoulders, thick and curly.

marygracerich my girls have all been fairly bald until at least 18 months so I went the headband route. And I got sucked in. 🙈 If you need somewhere to start down that black hole look up Zozu Baby or Little Juneberry. They aren’t the cheapest bows out there but really well made and sweet sweet ladies.

In my defense, I wanted some with the nylon band and I didn’t have any of those. I also wanted more dainty headbands. I have headbands and bows for any and all occasions and outfits gaga

I woke up to pump and was drenched. Our sheet looks gross. I can’t wait until the night sweat phase ends.

It’s 4am and DS hasn’t fallen asleep long enough tonight for me to actually sleep myself. It’s almost a good thing, since getting up from a deep sleep is harder than a quick snooze. I’m annoyed because his diapers are constantly leaking, which wakes him. I’ve gone through three outfits tonight and his bassinet is soaked, so I’ll have to put him in bed with me, which means Mom doesn’t get to enjoy her pillow and blanket nest. Moving him up a size didn’t work before so I’ve been continuing to use the newborn size, but I’m going to try the 1s again and see how it goes.

Im up. MH was so freakin loud when he got up for work that he woke the baby. I got up to make a bottle and made a stop at the bathroom. I got my first pp period. That’s fun because today is my long solo day with both kids and G doesn’t have school today. MH is so freakin loud!!! I didn’t make the bottle yet because it sounds like he is going back to sleep, that is if MH can be quieter.

snowyowl we were having lots of problems with leaks in Pampers, tried seventh generation, and ultimately settled on Huggies. Initially tried just going up a size in Pampers and that didn’t work for us either.

The girls are both having a good night (no toddler wake-ups, and 4.5 then 3.5 hour baby stretches) so of course there has to be something else waking me up. Turns out our cat caught a mouse inside a large cardboard box and was playing with it. VERY LOUD. I woke up H to take care of it, since from the sound I didn’t know if a raccoon had gotten in or something.

Baby V was so gassy and grunty and uncomfortable last night! I'm going to try giving up dairy to see if that helps her. I did it with DS for a few months too and I think it made a difference, although I'll never know for sure!

My middle kiddo was like this and honestly we just moved her to her own bedroom at that point 😂🤷 if she is sleeping fine and just noisy that might help! Because no one should have to willingly give up cheese.
