This is not going well. Baby boy won't transfer. He screams bloody murder when I put h down, but doesn't want to nurse. MH is next to me snoring away. I'm so irritated.

I’m here. Nursing DS. He last fed at 7 and was awake for about 2 hours before falling asleep at 9 and waking up at 11:30 (now). I’m truing to encourage him to nurse longer so I can maybe get more sleep...we will see if I can even stay awake long enough myself to nurse him more than 10 minutes lol.

Rough night so far. Z is fussy and gassy and doesn’t want to be set down, but it makes it hard to feed J sooo 🙈🤷🏻‍♀️

My husband: "I need to get back on a sleep schedule for when I have to wake up at 5 for work" (he goes back Tuesday)

Also my husband tonight: "Good night, I am going to play my game and watch some basketball a bit longer and then I will be up. Shouldn't be later than midnight or 1."

🙄🙄 at least I could go to sleep and leave the baby with him I guess.

dragonflyinn this is a constant struggle for me MOTN.
teraiin hopefully Z will let you put him down soon so you can fed J and then maybe get some sleep.

I am pumping, my eyes are closing. I started my period today, which could be the reason my supply tanked. Fx that was the problem bc if that’s the case I should get my supply back.?

Ooooh fx! My period always messed with my supply with DS1 and it would always come back! I’m assuming it will be the same this time around also

Hi. We are on our first wake up. I however have been up since 1:30 because of MHs snoring. I finally couldn’t take it and kicked him out of bed so I could sleep but now the baby is up.

I think mine is starting tomorrow. I’m hoping that’s the case because I see my dr on the 12th and I don’t want to have to reschedule it.

Thanks pippiann! I managed to stay awake for our last feeding & I think it worked he made it almost 4 hours before he pooped & woke up. Hopefully we get 4 this next stretch too. 🙏🏼

I have Frozen songs stuck in my head. Annoying. Lol. I also keep nodding off while nursing, this feed is taking a long time. Lol.

marygracerich my husband has been sleeping on the couch since our 3rd day home. Helps me not want to strangle him in the middle of the night. Lol.

I just got 3 hours of sleep in a row, for the first time since she was born three weeks ago! 🙌🏻 H was holding her the whole time, which is why she slept longer, but I’ll take it!

@pipiann marygracerich did you guys get your periods so quickly with your last pregnancy? Mine didn't come for months previously.
sarahh did you make your H do the poop diaper? I always want to do this but it never seems worth the effort of hearing H grumble.

Definitely still half asleep reading this. I somehow gathered 3rd husband out of that and was super confused.

C slept in his bassinet for 50 minutes, then I let him sleep on my boob in bed and we got a 4 hour stretch with a few minor wake-ups for me to help him re-latch. Now I’m sitting up trying to get in a good nursing session and then maybe I’ll attempt the bassinet again. It feels like my milk is coming in! 🎉

I missed my MOTN pump yesterday and it was amazing and I subconsciously wanted to do it again tonight but DH made sure I was awake at the 4 hour mark. Ugh... I'm sick, let me sleep.

Yes. Mine came back within 6 weeks of delivery last time too. I am not nursing or pumping which I am sure makes a difference.

jessijean make sure you feed the baby w the milk you are pumping during your sickness now. This milk has the flu antibodies as are fighting it and will help protect the baby from your germs. I really hope you feel better soon. Must be miserable!

Welp. Another good stretch was wishful thinking. He was up barely two hours after his last feeding with a stupid poop. I’m so annoyed. At least the night is almost over. I’ll probably need to nap today.

I got a four hr stretch!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

I haven't slept four hours in a row in months!!!!! Of course the other stretch was less than two so I'm still at like 5.5 hrs for the whole night, but I will take it for sure.

I actually checked her diaper and there was nothing. It definitely sounded like something so who knows!

sometimes I really don’t care how much sleep I get, I just want the night to end.

Yup, I’m still broken. I was up for an extra 2 1/2 hours for no reason. Now I’m up feeding the baby. G will be up soon I’m sure. I think I will wake MH up soon. That way I can shower and we can go out for breakfast.
