I swear you could almost set a watch by my nightly foray to the bathroom. Sometime between 4:30 and 5 in the morning I inevitably wind up crawling down the stairs to go have a pee. Which sucks on work days because I have to get up just after 6 lol

I have to pee every 2-3 hours regardless of sleep. I don't know if I could make it down stairs. My bathroom's only like 7 feet from my bed, but I still sometimes think it'd just be easier to put DS's potty chair in the room and pee there all night.

Lol, it's just a few stairs down from my loft bed :-) of course, the bathroom then is on the other side of the apartment lol

I’ve noticed over the past week that I’ve reached the point where nearly every maternity T-shirt I have now has stains on the belly from me dropping food on it/brushing against things. 😬

I decided to drink a coffee this afternoon. I don't usually drink one that late since it keeps me up but this is my weekend off. Anyways, I was sitting there at my computer and all of the sudden my stomach started hurting. I went and laid down on the couch and I could feel baby bouncing around from side to side going nuts lol. I guess I'll have to watch my caffeine intake!

H wants to see the baby before we name him or her. I'm planning on only bringing my favorite name list to the hospital - which is super short - 1 for boy and 2 for girl- in the hopes that he'll get tired of trying to haphazardly find better names on the internet last minute and just go with my favorites (which he has already stated he likes well enough). Also, he got his favorite for DS#2 so I'm hoping he will let me use my favorite on DS#3 if it's a boy.
We didn't tell anyone IRL the names we were considering for 1+2, but I'm so sure of what I want for #3 that I've been willing to share. It also helps that 2 of 3 are current(living) family names so I doubt anyone would say anything negative haha.

MH has to go on a work trip starting next week that could last up to 2 weeks so he might end uo missing the a/s. He told me not to reschedule it but as much as I want to see baby and find out the sex, I don't want him to miss it either. He's been super busy at work and hasn't made it to any of my appts yet

mrsweasley that’s disappointing, I’m sorry. Perhaps you could ask the scan technician to write down the sex for you to open when he gets back?

I think we might do that, but I'll probably end up second guessing if the tech was correct. I'm hoping he won't have to stay the whole 2 weeks though and will be home in time

My mum said to me Friday that I look tired and like I could use a break. I got a bit offended. This is just my face. I look like a pregnant woman with a 2.5 year old working and mumming and living normally. And, like, a break from what? How? When? Then two people said yesterday I look tired. So now it’s official: I’m a walking haggard old mess. Good self esteem booster. Perhaps I should go back to wearing lipstick so I look fresher and more alive? I am not feeling like my normal optimistic happy self this week. Ticket for one to Funktown.

When we did family pics last month, I thought I looked really great until we looked at the proofs and I had enormous bags under my eyes. You know your relationship with your mom better, but when my mom says this it's usually a tiny bit of concern but mostly her way of offering to take V and let me sleep a bit or have "me time". Maybe next time she says it, hand your kid over and say "thanks, see you in a couple of hours"? Either you get bonus free time or she stops commenting. Win-win!

budders that’d be great, glad you get a cue for some rest. I bet your photos are nice, we’re all our worst critics with that stuff. My mum doesn’t live in the same city as me and she said it as I was leaving our catch up so nope, just a comment but I’m sure not ill intentioned. Just feeling emotionally drained at the moment so it’s probably showing on my (haggard) face and weighing on me a bit.

adeline I think pregnancy really wears me down too. People seem to have no filter around PG women and say things that are rude. Try not to take it to heart, I'm sure you look like fab

I'm sorry you're feeling so drained, it is really tough to balance toddler, work and pregnancy. I hope people keep their comments to themselves.

You are pregnant?!" I confirmed and she followed up with "You don't look fat, you look pregnant!!" Um, thanks? This co-worker is known for blurting out whatever she thinks so it didn't surprise me...too much.

Nice of your mom to point out something out of your control and not offer any solutions. Hope that you don’t get too down.

My MW recommended a chiropractor for all the hip pain I’ve been having so I should call and make an appointment. I just don’t know what I’ll do with DD during.

Hey ladies. It's been a while since I posted here so I wanted to pop in. I am getting much bigger this time and faster too and I am trying not to be concerned but I've always had weight issues. I've been keeping up with workouts (minus running) but my eating is OUT. OF. CONTROL.
I have my 24 week appointment on Wednesday and I just realized that is usually when they do the glucose test but she didn't mention it last time. I don't know if I am eating it or not. Should I not eat?

Should I not eat? Is your appt in the morning? I do mine at a lab around 27 weeks, but I remember last time it was first thing in the morning and I just didn't eat before I went. I also was careful about what I ate the night before (low carb, nothing too sugary). Also, I had my 24 week appt today and my belly measured a week ahead. I feel huge too, and am ravenous these days, so you are not alone there.

budders, my appointment is at 10:15. I think she would've mentioned it last time so maybe we are waiting until 28 weeks? I will try to watch the sugar and carbs tomorrow. I did just eat a bunch of gunmy bears though 😬

My next appointment will be 24 weeks and they didn’t mention anything so idk. I didn’t do anything special last time before my glucose test and it was fine. I ate breakfast because I knew I’d puke otherwise. But I did obsessively test my blood sugar in the weeks prior on DH’s machine, ha.

I'm fairly certain that my second tri glucose tests were around 28 weeks with both previous pregnancies. I assume I'll get the prescription (it's done at the hospital lab, not in my OB's office) when I go back in two weeks (26.5 weeks) and it'll say something like after X date (when I'm 28 weeks).

I have been so nauseated all day and I can't shake it. I might try a Unisom and B6 tonight since the kids have a 2 hour delay tomorrow. I'm betting it will turn into a snow day too

Omg, I am so stuffed up it's not even funny. I'm so sick of this :-( I took a benadryl last night hoping it would help and all it made me was super drowsy this morning. I feel like I've tried everything.
