I am set on the name Josephine for a girl, I found out when she passed away last year (at 101!) that it was my great grandma's middle name and I just fell in love with it. MH however does not like it. I need to find out if we need to argue about it more, 3.5 more weeks is too long to wait!

We don't share our names, I'm just not interested in anyone's opinions. My BMB and MH and I were it last time. But she didn't have a middle name until a couple days after she was born. Hopefully we can avoid that this time! But we literally haven't even discussed it at all yet. I told MH tomorrow night, for sure. We won't choose anything super popular though, last time we checked all our top contenders against the social security list. We don't share with anyone IRL either. People think we're weird but I would rather be like "this is our baby and this is his name" than include anyone else in the process. Internet friends are an exception though. Last time it was very helpful to be able to tell MH that the entire internet agrees that Fox isn't a good name. Hahaha. This sounds like something that would happen in my house.

I worked with a Josephine and she went by Joie, which i loves as well.

I just spent an hour looking through the hospital census at names. It is not a very good place to find them.

I hemmed and hawed on whether we should buy another glider for this nursery and keep the one in DDs room or just use DDs in the nursery. I finally found a great sale and pulled the trigger on one and it’s getting delivered today! DDs big girl bed sheets also got delivered yesterday.
This is all getting very real!

lemons what did you get? I want a new one. I have a wooden glider with cushions but I’m wanting like a real chair this time around. Have my eyes on this one, swivel/glider/recliner all in one. ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180110/bef8badbc43c1ad34a3c24f620fe4315.jpg)

We finally talked about names a little last night. I told MH all the names I liked and he made faces at most of them, then he started reading off the strangest names from the social security list and laughing hysterically. So then I told him I was just going to leave him and name this baby myself and we both agreed it was probably a good stopping point. Pretty much I’m sure this baby will never have a first name. I'm in the exact same boat. MH hates the names I choose and he's picking the weirdest names ever. This kid will be nameless, I swear.

I got this one in grey from PBK. I got it on a one day flash sale for 599!! The one in DD's room is very similar but does not recline. The reclining feature is actually what sold me. So many rough nights I would have killed to be able to recline while DD slept on my chest.

Especially since DD and baby will be sharing a room. I can barely fit DD on the wooden glider let alone her and a baby.

I have one very similar to that itsmemeg. We still use it daily in M's room. I adore it. So comfy!

... I decided that if I can't have my salad, I at least want a PB&J. Go to the fridge, and of course, THERE'S NO FUCKING BREAD. So now I'mma just sit here and drink my chocolate milk out of the carton like a heathen because fuck it

I just got this glider bc i has the wood glider with DD and i hate that thing. Obviously haven’t used it with baby yet but it seems super comfy. And was only $250 on wayfair so that’s an added bonus! ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180110/e0b45ee33265f8affcbd170f9efdde24.jpg)

I’ve been wondering this too. I think I’m going to put the chair in the nursery when we move and see if DD notices or cares. We barely use it in her room, although the matching ottoman is the one thing I allow her to jump on (not the bed etc) so it’s her ‘jumping castle’ that she’ll miss being in her room!

We happen to have an extra recliner in our basement. Stupid me insisted on having a traditional glider with a separate ottoman when I had O. His glider is moving to his big boy room. The extra recliner is going into the nursery. I don't (really) care that it doesn't match my color scheme exactly since we already have it.
I'm trying to decide what to do dresser wise. We are planning to move O in February into his new room. I don't think that will be enough time to order a new dresser for his room. But I feel weird getting a brand new one for the baby when the one O has wasn't new for him? Either way, our kids furniture isn't matching sets. I know I'm putting way too much thought into this.

I... lost three pounds over the holidays. I was sick AF with no appetite, though. My OB wasn’t exactly thrilled, but I also don’t gain while pregnant & usually maintain or lose. Thanks, HG.

It sucks to be so sick, I'm sorry. My first pregnancy I gained pretty consistently. This time, I was sicker and lost a lot the first 17 weeks, and have only regained about half of it. Since I'm overweight, I'm actually relieved, and the doctors aren't too concerned because it's leveled off.

I’m overweight, so gain isn’t exactly a priority. The n/v has gotten better in recent weeks leading up to Christmas, but then I got a cold/sinus infection from hell & it all came back with a vengeance. I’m trying at least.

I felt a couple kicks from the outside tonight! So exciting! I keep waiting for this because I want V to be able to feel it. Damn anterior placenta. Also, baby only seems interested in kicking either my bladder or my cervix, which it uses as a trampoline. So that could be a factor.
