This postnasal drip and persistent cough combined with pregnancy is killing me. Sometimes when I cough, I throw up. Sometimes when I cough, I pee.

Had my AS this morning. The doctor was late so the tech said that everything looked good so I could leave and they’d fax the results to my OB. So I guess everything is good? Not what I anticipated so I’m kind of still anxious over the whole thing.

Had a bowl of cereal this morning at almost 7. At 10:30 my stomach started letting me know that I had to feed it or it would eject everything already there. So for my mid morning "snack" I'm having a boiled egg, cheese, and 2 pieces of toast with jam. Oh, and lunch is in another hour lol

It's the first day back from break. I am super tired. My hardest class of my year is next and I'm not anticipating great behavior. FX I'm wrong.
Also, when do I tell my students I'm pregnant? They're 4-8 year olds. I'm think when it becomes entirely too obvious to not tell them. Right now it looks like I ate a lot of cookies over break. I guess I'll tell them by the end of the month.

I'm at a fun phase where I'm not obviously pregnant, but showing enough that I'm either pregnant or getting a gut. When people have seen me around the building today, you can clearly see in their faces that they are debating asking if I'm pregnant or wondering if I just ate too much holiday junk food. I find this pretty amusing.

Not what I anticipated so I’m kind of still anxious over the whole thing. I would definitely assume everything is good, because I would think they would want you to wait and see the doctor if something was wrong. But I wouldn’t be completely comfortable with how that wrapped up either. Hopefully the doctor gives you a follow up call to tell you all is well.

I’m probably not telling my students until right before I leave, but they really aren’t paying attention to what my body looks like, and they’ll just be anxious about me leaving. In your case though, at the end of the month is probably appropriate since you’re showing and I’m sure some will start to notice.

Is anyone else having the worst headaches lately? I always drink plenty of l water, though I know I don’t get enough sleep. It’s been kicking up my nausea again too, which doesn’t help.

I skirted the question and another student replied to my answer saying "But she didn't say there *wasn't* a baby in her belly!" So I think some of them have noticed but haven't said anything/don't really care. I just remember from my pregnancy with O that the super little kids in HeadStart wanted to know every week if I was still pregnant, how much longer I'd be pregnant, how I knew it was a boy, how did it get into my belly, how was it going to get out, if I would name it Sponge Bob, and the other 9 million questions that 4 yo kids ask. And you waiting to tell your students is the best plan of action in your situation.

They are killing me. Yesterday I spent most of the day on the couch with a heating pad on my neck/shoulders and a cold compress over my eyes. I told DH it was like my worst hangover ever and I had nothing but the kids' sparkling apple juice!

Yup, headaches and just general head tenderness. Also, my sciatica is THE WORST today. I'm literally limping around work

We just got back from spending 3 glorious kid-free days with friends. And then today I got to see my other friend and meet her nb. I got baby snuggles. It was the best.

I completely freaked out on MH tonight. I kept asking for fish and chips, and he told me if I cleaned the kitchen he'd get it for me. I got most of the way through, starting to get hangry in the process, and then he tried to tell me that he didn't have enough money (I know exactly how much he had and it was enough). I threw the container of cleaning wipes at him, slammed the door and cried. Not my proudest moment v.v In the end, I did get my fish and chips though

I would have asked him why he couldn't clean it if it was bothering him. But I don't respond well to food being used as a bribe either.

Add me to the headache club. I just can't seem to get rid of the nasal congestion and I think that's making my head have more pressure.
I am overrun by toys now that we are home from the holiday travel. I think the grandparents went a little overboard with the amount of gifts.
My 20 week ultrasound is tomorrow, I'm excited to see the little guy again.

Finally throwing up less than 10x a day most days. So ready to start feeling movement so I can assure myself that being so sick (and, illogically, no longer being so sick) aren’t bad news for baby.
Started out the new year by cleaning/purging/reorganizing the laundry “room” (it’s actually the closet in the hall bathroom) so hopefully I can keep that momentum going for a bit.

What are you guys taking for colds/flu/congestion? I'm using a saline nasal spray, running a humidifier, kids dose of Sudafed (only when I really need it, and make sure it's the pseudoephredrine behind the counter and not the OTC Sudafed PE, which is phenylephrine), cough/throat drops, and nasal strips at night sometimes.

What are you guys taking for colds/flu/congestion? Saline and Tylenol. Sudafed didn’t help, so I didn’t like taking it. Non-menthol cough drops for dry/sore throat.

DH felt the baby kick tonight. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) It's kicked started something for him. He started looking at names and talking about baby gear we'll have to re-buy. I haven't even started thinking about names. Aside from saying it can't be a name from any show that DS watches.

H and I actually talked names today. We are both fairly certain we know her name already but he has refused to actually talk about it. He doesn't want to commit because 'What if we change our minds in April and then everyone thinks they already know her name but we change it.' With our son we were down to two because I couldn't commit. I really want to be like "We went with your first choice for O so we should go with mine this time."

Are you planning to share the name with others once you decide? H and I have no idea what name we're using, but we don't discuss possibilities with anyone IRL. Would your H feel better committing if it was only between the two of you?
