I am very sore from yesterday’s workout. I also ended up with a sore throat and low fever by the end of the day which has continued today. I plan to do day 2 in a little bit and power through.
Does anyone else have issues with feeling nauseous and/or dizzy after her workouts? Is there anything I can do to make it better/not happen.

What are you guys going to do on the fit test days 15, 30, 60, and 75 instead? I was thinking this morning that 7.0 is going to overlap with a pretty busy field season for me, so an extra "rest" day now and then will probably fit well in my schedule. So I'll probably just skip them, or if I'm feeling antsy do some other workout.

Off to a great start here...
Couldn't find any of my sports bras- which is a big sign that it's been too many months. Finally found one and I was in the middle of the lunges when I hear my oldest screaming, "Aaaagh! Aagh! Broken sink!" No dude, you clogged the toilet and it's flooding. 😩
I cleaned up that disaster and then the dentist called to say they could squeeze my kids in for cleanings since we had to cancel them last week due to a stomach bug.
So quick shower, dentist, crappy on-the-go lunch. I guess maybe I'll try again later this afternoon after I finish all the laundry from the bathroom disaster?

I drank water before and took sips in the 10 second break.

Fit test done. I felt good on mostly leg based stuff (squats and lunges), ok on core heavy things ...DD kicked my butt on all the triceps dips

I almost always do them at night after DS goes to bed for this reason. It's definitely not the best time for me since I am much fresher earlier in the day, but at least I don't have the interruptions. Don't give up!

She emailed me about BBM 7.0 and I was just contemplating on my own. I haven't been to this board in months.
Can I come back? Can you all help me stay here while I build this into a habit again?

Ok, I bought the workbook and I'll see if I can start tonight. DS's Legos have taken over the family room since the last BBM, so I need a different room for my workouts now.
I need to figure out how to stream youtube to a not-smart TV.

I finished day 2! One day more than I did last year! Progress. I was able to watch it live from Facebook on the firestick, so that was much better than watching on my iPad yesterday. Ooh! I need to figure this out. Is there a fb app for the firestick? yes, there’s a Facebook video app. Then I just searched bikini body mommy. You can watch live or previously recorded videos.

I just bought out all of Sprouts with my grocery shopping.
I realized that for the BBM meal plan, she left off an ingredient from the grocery list. Tonight's meal is supposed to be stuffed sweet potatoes, and sweet potatoes were not on the list... I needed to skip a meal anyway so I guess I am skipping that one.
About to do the fit test!

Just finished Day 1 on YouTube. My rep counts are off as I was constantly putting a paci back in DS mouth. But I felt ok minus the planks. Oy. Haha, this was just me.

Okay so this was my fit test:
Speed squats: 30 Push ups: 2 reg/14 modified Mountain climbers: 60 Alternating lunges: 16 Jump squats: 15 High knees: 92 Dips: 23 Plank up downs: 4 reg, 8 modified
That was hard.

Hi, I just did the fit test instead of napping as usual during kiddo nap time. I'm obviously already winning at life.
Except holy god, am I ever out of shape.
Prisoner "speed" (lol) squats: 18 Pushups: 15 modified Mountain climbers: 40 - I think I could've done 50 but my rug slipped and I wasn't about to REPEAT it. Alternating lunges: 7 each side. I always fall, even though I generally have good balance. Jump squats: 15 High knees (walked): 34 Bridge tricep dips: 22 Plank up-downs: 10 (modified). Also, fuck off, plank up-downs.

That happened to me during Extreme. I made my lists from each recipe page. There were a couple of pages that didn’t list one thing in the ingredients but listed them in the directions. You’d think I would have checked both after it happened the first time 🤷🏻♀️ I’m slacking on the meal plan this week. I need to go to the grocery store.

I've gotten up to do them at 5:30 on work days during previous challenges and then just done them with my kids joining/underfoot on weekends. I thought it'd be fine today but obviously it wasn't... MH is home and cooking dinner so I should go hide from my family and attempt again.

I’m trying to decide if I want to swap out the cardio for running (I’ve got 4 miles tomorrow which is light for me) or if I want to add it on to work different areas.
Thoughts from those who have done the more recent challenges?

Thoughts from those who have done the more recent challenges? I don’t run as much as you, but I added 30 minutes of running to the strength days 2-3 times per week during most of 5.0.

The cardio "works" but it's not like an hour spin class or anything. Its 20 minutes (only if you do the cooldown...which I don't, because she's kind of annoying).

I did day 2. It wasn’t terrible.. I may repeat again tomorrow morning early and also run (if I can convince myself to get out of bed at 5:15) to try and move my exercise to morning routine since evenings are so hectic.
