When is your due date? How far along are you? 07/30 8 weeks
How big is baby? Raspberry
Any upcoming appointments? 12/29
Any new symptoms or changes? RLP that feels like my uterus is ripping in half.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I’m just doing my best to survive. I’m a negative nelly and I’m trying hard not to be. I’m failing.
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? I’m drawing a complete blank. I was going to say wedding ring but that’s technically not a gift. Rain check on this question.

When is your due date? How far along are you? July 21. 9w 2d
How big is baby? Green olive. Jacks. Grape.
Any upcoming appointments? I have an appt on weds. Just with the nurse.
Any new symptoms or changes? I've been really thirsty. Especially at night. I'll wake up just to get a drink. I've learned to keep water on my headboard.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Sleeping is already hard. I shouldn't be waking multiple times to pee, tossing and turning, and having insomnia yet! Usually this doesn't happen until 3rd tri. 😣😤
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? My dad bought me a new car. Also my engagement ring/wedding bands.

When is your due date? How far along are you? July 28 / 8+2
How big is baby? Jelly Bean
Any upcoming appointments? 12/28
Any new symptoms or changes? I'm so nauseated all the time, and have had actual vomiting (which I never did with DD). I can't really imagine 4ish more weeks of this, and not really sure what I will do, except survive. I had some bleeding last week, but it was just from my cervix, and stopped after a week of laying down as much as possible.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Not much.
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? No idea. Maybe I'm ungrateful?

potatocakes I have been taking b6/unisom and it's been magical. I still feel nauseous but it takes it from a 10 down to a 5.

When is your due date? How far along are you? August 17th - 5w3d
How big is baby? Chocolate Chip
Any upcoming appointments? Dec 29th - I'm going to push for a dating ultrasound if possible
Any new symptoms or changes? I am starving all day and super bloated.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I am really worried about weight gain this pregnancy. I'm starting off about 10 pounds heavier than with my first, and I really can't afford to put on tons of weight if I want to be healthy throughout this pregnancy. Last time I didn't worry so much because nausea prevented me from gaining too much too fast, but this time I'm going to have to work at choosing healthy foods when I'm starving instead of shoveling anything into my mouth.
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? I love it when I get "experience" gifts - My H got me tickets to see this comedian who I've loved since I was a kid and it was a great time. He's also started getting me Sephora gift cards which are fantastic because I would normally never treat myself and it sort of forces me into it.

Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? none
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? um this is hard. engagement ring? that was probably most expensive. My gifts are usually useful. I can't think of anything crazy or really exciting.

letsgetphysio, I totally feel your pain on the weight gain front. I feel like my struggle not to gain too much weight is always on my mind while I'm pregnant. I lost a substantial amount of weight last year but still started this pregnancy 10 lbs heavier than my last and I am not choosing the healthiest of foods. I keep saying, tomorrow I'll do better but then I don't.

When is your due date? How far along are you? 7/17, 9 weeks, 6 daysHow big is baby? Still grape-sizedAny upcoming appointments? Bloodwork on ThursdayAny new symptoms or changes? Nothing new- still getting nauseous around 7/8 PM when meds wear off. Too nervous to try going without them. Hopefully in another week or so.Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I'm still in kind of a negative funk. I have a few days off next week, at least, so hopefully that break in the routine will be good.GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? DH is such a thoughtful gift-giver, i dunno why i'm blanking on this. i am very excited about our mutual christmas gift to each other this year, which is a recliner.

When is your due date? How far along are you? Aug 3, 7w3d
How big is baby? Blueberry
Any upcoming appointments? Jan 11, I may end up going in a few days before that for the NIPT
Any new symptoms or changes? nausea seems to be ramping up which is just great. I’m trying to eat, but that endeavor is not going well and I’m down more than 5lbs since thanksgiving. Unisom and b6 keeps the vomiting away, but doesn’t touch the pukey feeling and makes the struggle to stay awake even more real.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions?
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? MH got me an emerald band to go with my wedding set after DD was born. I love it so much!

When is your due date? How far along are you? 8/6 7w
How big is baby? Blueberry
Any upcoming appointments? 1/3
Any new symptoms or changes? I have such intense cravings and can really only eat what I'm craving.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Nah
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? I thought I had lost all my sentimental Christmas ornaments one year and my mom combed through old Christmas pictures to look at our tree over the years and her and my MIL bought me some of my favorites. It was really thoughtful.

potatocakes, I was throwing up everything I ate when I wasn’t taking it or only taking it at night. My doctor said I could do 3 doses a day and if I time them right, I get a couple hours each time where food stays down. It’s not great, and I can’t do a full meal or anything, but definitely an improvement.

I’m tired enough.

All 4 pregnancies I've gained 10 lbs in the 1st tri. I've accepted it is just how my body is. With ds I was more mindful of my choices starting in 2nd tri and did fine with weight gain, I'll work on that again once I'm past the awfulness of 1st tri. Tl;dr I'm cutting myself slack with eating until I feel better/am out of 1st tri.

The unisom doesn't make me any more tired. But I have taken 2 unisom every night for years, so half a pill is nothing.

When is your due date? How far along are you? Aug 12, 6+1
How big is baby? Chocolate chip
Any upcoming appointments? My doctor is apparently no longer at the clinic, so searching for a new one now.
Any new symptoms or changes? So much nausea, so little energy. I’ve spent the majority of the past week on the couch eating goldfish crackers.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? My kids have been so cuddly lately. They don’t know yet, but it’s like they sense something is up and they are super clingy.
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? I am a photographer and H got me a camera lens this year that I had been dreaming of. I use it every day!

When is your due date? How far along are you? 7/25, 8w5d
How big is baby? pygmy seahorse
Any upcoming appointments? 12/20 - nurse appt, 1/5 - 12w checkup (they scheduled based on my original Edd - not complaining that I get it a week early!), 1/10 - NT scan, blood work for genetic testing, 2/20 - anatomy scan!
Any new symptoms or changes? Last night I had to get up from a deep sleep because DS was screaming and I got so light-headed that I almost fell over. That's a new one, guess I need to try to eat more. Still super thirsty and way too bloated for less than 9 weeks! Crazy-cakes emotional, starving all the time, constipated, etc.
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? Still nervous about the dating u/s being a week behind and think it's crazy they've scheduled so many appointments in advance. I've tried my Doppler a couple of times with no luck (I know it's early). Haven't told anyone yet, and debating if we will or not this coming weekend.
Also trying to figure out a fun vacation for the 4 of us before I get too uncomfortable (March-ish). We HAD planned to take the kids on a cruise but that's out thanks to Zika restrictions. Would still like to do something big but not too stressful on the travel front (direct flight or <6hr drive).
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? DH surprised me with a simple birthstone pendant before we left for the hospital when DD was born. It was completely unexpected and is my favorite necklace. We weren't even sure if she was going to be born in December or January, he just had a feeling she'd be early and got me a blue topaz.

When is your due date? How far along are you? July 4th, 2018; 12 weeks today
How big is baby? The internet says a lime? I'm pretty sure they are referring to a very small lime.
Any upcoming appointments? I have my NT scan this afternoon.
Any new symptoms or changes? Finally feeling a little more energetic. Still out of breath a lot though (not anemic just can't breathe).
Rants/Raves/AW/Questions? I'm telling the girls tonight, I'm pretty nervous but just need to get it over with at this point so I can stop projecting about it.
GTKY: What is the best gift you ever received? Nothing specific but I love cheesy homemade gifts that the girls make at daycare. My littlest brought me a little clay hand sculpture of her hand last night that I can keep earrings or rings in. She tried very hard to break it before giving it to me of course, but I still loved it.

I’m tired enough. This is my problem too - when I take it at night I am SO groggy the next morning, but this morning, I was groggy and didn't puke, so...win? I am doing just B6 during the day, and then Unisom also at night.

potatocakes, in my experience, after about a week of taking the unisom at night, you start to feel noticeably less groggy in the morning. (i still would never take it during the day, though.)

Okay, this I could see making me more tired. Does it help a lot more than just the b6? For me it does. With just the b6, I wasn’t keeping anything down, including water. I’m already so tired (from not eating and general first tri exhaustion) that I don’t really notice any added drowsiness. I’m lucky that I stay at home with a great support system and a toddler who still naps, so I have the opportunity to rest when I need it.
