So... I'm AMA. And I did the Harmony with my daughter three years ago (almost exactly) and I had the Panorama this time around....
I've been stalking the Natera site... DAILY. Multiple times a day.. a friend of mine had hers done and results back 6 days from the date her sample was pulled..
Which NIPT version did you have? How long until you had results from the time your sample of drawn? And were able to stalk the lab itself, or wait for a phone call?

Mine was Harmony. I got my sample taken 9/13 and results delivered to me via online portal on 9/20, so a turnaround of 7 days.
I just waited for a phone call/message from my online portal. I expected to wait 10-14 days, so I actually got mine faster than I wanted!

I believe mine was through Sequenom, and I got a call back from the genetic counselor. It hasn't posted to my patient portal at all. She called me within a week.

I did the MaterniT21 test and had it done on a Wednesday (9/13). I had the results the following Wednesday (9/20), via a phone call from my OB office. I was never given the option to look for the results online.
When I got my blood drawn for the test, I was told that the results could be back as quickly as 7 days and as late as 14 days, depending on how busy the lab was at the time.

::Old Lady Raises Hand:: I was/an AMA with 2/3 pregnancies, and both were MatT21. Last time I got it back in a week (5 business days) last time it was in 3 business days. The MatT21 was done through Sequenom like calendula did. Not sure if Sequenom does just MatT21 though.

I ready somewhere that their doctor only gave results back personally during appointments no matter what the results, so maybe check to see if they actually have them just waiting for your next appointment to review results?

I had InformaSeq (a test I’ve never heard of!). It took 4 business days / 6 calendar days to get results, and my OB didn’t call me I just got an email that my test results were loaded in the patient portal.

I just had the Panorama done today. They gave me a card to register on the site, but the technician didn't know how long it will be before I get my results. All she said was that the normal blood work takes 6-10 days, but she knew that the genetic testing takes longer.

I did not do any testing with my first. I actually don't know anyone in real life who has done it. But everyone here does so now I'm questioning it.

the only reason i really had it done was due to being uninsured for the first 2.5 months of this pregnancy. we paid out of pocket and they give a huge discount if you aren't insured. the nt would have been 3x the cost for us. i personally would have liked to have had the ultrasound.

We did MaT21. I had the blood draw on 9/22. The midwife told me 10-14 days but the lab guy told me 5-10. I was told to call as they would probably only call me if they found something. I called on 10/3 and they had the results.

I did Harmony. The place I got it through does an ultrasound as part of the appointment (no extra charge). Here, you pay out of pocket about $450 for Harmony or $160 ish if you choose to go NT scan and blood work instead as your risk testing for the Trisomy syndromes.
It took 9 business days (Tuesday test done, results following Friday). The genetic counseller gives you results over the phone.

Midwife told me that Natera's site would post them before they even reviewed them at the Dr office and use the Natera site to get results faster! She said they'd call too. I'm just impatient. It doesn't help that I had a dream it came back as 90% chance of Tri21. Although I know that's not how the results come back.. le sigh.

I didn't with my first, but I was only 33 when she was born. I was 35 with #2 and now I'm 37 so that is why I had it done these past two pregnancies. I only know one other person IRL that had it done and it was with her only pregnancy that she was over 35yo. At least around here unless you have a family history or are AMA nobody does it.

Did it with my first and even though I wasn’t in any risk category my insurance still covered it so I did it with my second as well. Through my doctor but it was the Sequnon one MaternT 21. After 2 weeks I started calling and my results had been like faxed to a non-fax number so no idea how long it actually took, but I got my results after about 16 days.

ArielMermaid are you AMA or have a history of multiple miscarriages? If not you don’t need it and your insurance will most likely not cover it if you did want to get it.

See, I don't know if it's just my insurance or not, but they don't even do the NTS anymore at all. Only NIPT. Apparently that's becoming more standard these days, since it's more sensitive or something? I do have a history of loss and IF, but would that be enough to have them skip straight to NIPT without a scan? For reference, this is my first pregnancy to get far enough to even remotely consider getting the testing done and I'm not AMA.
