There is a still shot of Travis screaming in Andy Reid’s face and Andy has his eyes closed. Someone said it looks like a parent with a tantruming toddler in the grocery store. Accurate.

I finally watched the halftime show and I think one issue was that he tried to squeeze too many songs in, so we got the tiniest tastes and the transitions were too quick. That and instead of ending on a big burst of music, flames, fireworks, etc with Yeah! He ended on a quieter note with the vocals only and audience participation for call and response. I enjoyed hut it was just alright. Honestly I was more hyped when Lil Jon showed up.

If Kelce would have scored the game winning TD at the end of regulation I would have lost it. I'll say this: if KC wins, he does not deserve to be on the stage lifting the Lombardi. I am so incredibly disgusted by him. His punk ass should have been benched. No matter what the outcome of this game is I want the narrative to be that he felt entitled to lay hands on his HEAD COACH. Absolutely. And I’m already seeing swifties explain it away by saying things like “he was under so much pressure! Such a big game! Emotions run high!” And yet, thousands of men over the years have managed to make it through the game without accosting their head coach. Try again.

willow my SIL who is not a swiftie want on a rant on IG about it because I said I said something about it and she’s like it’s a game, they expect to get hit, no one cared when Tyreek Hill threw his girlfriend down the stairs, this is why liberals are seen as soft by republicans because we are upset by this (she’s super liberal). I had to carefully craft a response to her.

I also believe Harrison Butker should have been MVP. He kept them in that game with his kicks.

Though that is from my personal lens, where I have mostly boycotted watching the NFL, despite how much I have always loved rooting for my Vikings, because of that shit (players and DV issues, etc) not being taken seriously by the NFL.

But I could tell his vocals were not great which I kind of was expecting and I agree he put way too many of his songs in. He had a ton to choose from of course, but I don't think anyone would have been mad with like 3 less in there and stretching out some of the others.

They didn't deserve to win and frankly the playoff OT rule change a few years ago was bullshit. I didn't give a crap who won either way, but I like the new OT. Sudden death first score is so unfair to the team that loses the coin toss and doesn't start with the ball.

The new one gives both teams a chance to play

It was if the first team with the ball got a touchdown, then it was over.

I must be the only one who thought the halftime show started off rough. I thought Usher sounded bad and like maybe they were having technical difficulties? The second half turned it around. Loved all the song choices too. H and I are big usher fans and I was underwhelmed by him. Dd loved him

Sure it was luck from the coin toss, but then you had to count on your defense to force a three and out and set you up to score.

The rule in the playoffs got changed after the Bills/KC game where KC won the toss, KC scored on their opening drive and the Bills never touched the ball from an offensive stand point.

If players are regularly shoving their coaches off camera, that is news to me.

UO I didn't think it was that big a deal.
I think the coach just got startled, not that he was overly physically accosted or anything. He grabbed his arm to get his attention. And yes, coaches and players scream at each other sidelines all the time, grab at one another to get attention over the noise and chaos. This was pretty minor, tbh.
And Usher did a fantastic job. Period.

Football players being hot headed and yelling on the sidelines is not new. TO ME Andy Reid looked startled and that is why he jumped, not that Travis pushed him in such a way that he would fall down. Players throw helmets and punch ipads which I think is way more immature than Travis yelling. Andy Reid is pretty close with his players. On the grand scheme of how football players and professional athletes act during games, this is low on the scale for me. And this is the best. x.com/2008Philz/status/1756843844845412379?s=20
