richard mentioned Reservation Dogs a few times in this thread. Just here to say it is soooo good. Episodes are short so binging is easy. The writing is brilliant.

I also recently figured out how to apply the Apple+ Target Circle 4-months free offer so I'm in the middle of Schmigadoon and loving it as expected.

I’m late to this thread, and just documenting all the recs. I just binged season 3 of Never Have I Ever, and I love it so much, on the off chance that hasn’t been recommended yet. Just finished Never Have I Ever too! I can't believe that every season has been just as good as the previous one.

I finally finished the last season of Wentworth and it was so fucking good 😭 I highly recommend if you like prison dramas. It's all on Netflix, from Australia.

I’m an episode in to the League of Their Own show on Amazon Prime and it’s good so far. It’s totally different characters (which I like) and also tells the story of a black woman who is not allowed in the league. And there’s swearing!

Seeing Lee Pace’s news on Twitter this morning, I need to add Pushing Daisies to this thread. If you haven’t watched it, you absolutely should. It’s a visually stunning, charming show that unfortunately never found it’s audience because of the writers strike. Amazing cast.
Apparently it’s on HBO Max but with the way they’ve been axing things might want to binge it sooner rather than later. Only 22 total episodes.

I ended up binging what turned out to be a series of historic royal dramas on STARZ. The White Queen (covering the period of King Edward IV and Queen Elizabeth Woodville up to the death of King Richard III), The White Princess (covering King Henry Tudor and Queen Elizabeth Woodville’s daughter), and The Spanish Princess (Catherine of Aragon and King Henry VIII). Except I watched them backward chronologically, not on purpose but I enjoyed seeing them that way. I liked that they leaned into the rumors about one of the Princes in the Tower surviving, and Tudors being cursed by Elizabeth Woodville. Lots of period eye candy, so if you like that kind of stuff I do recommend!

They're definitely good for what they are - dramas with gorgeous people in gorgeous costumes. Standard "do not watch for historical accuracy" disclaimer though LOL Jodie Comer and Michelle Fairley are amazing in White Princess.

Lately I've been really into Reading the Past with Dr. Kat.

I am really liking this show. Some of the relatives seem obvious and some I have no clue. The first episode I was all what am I watching and yet couldn't turn away. All 3 of us are hooked. Just started catching up on this and am loving it too!

We just watched the Unknown documentary about Manti Teo and his fake girlfriend. I recommend it! We are now watching more Unknown episodes. They are releasing some new ones soon, too.
ETA: on Netflix

Has anyone watched Trainwreck the documentary about Woodstock 99? It’s so crazy. I knew there were massive problems with that show but I learned so much about the backstory watching this. Also as a teen/ young adult in that time period it made me realize how fucking weird it was.

It really shone a light at the greed and disrespect at the very top and how that set the culture of the event. I wanted to punch John Scher in the face everytime he was on screen.

I called him an asshole when he tried to justify the number of rapes as being typical whenever you have that many people together. The fact that they had no idea the kind of music they were booking was amazing. Like how? They just didn’t care because they knew if they booked top bands people would pay it and come.
