3 sets of 20: Chest press Push-ups Chest flyes
2 sets of 20: Cable curls Hammer curls Tricep extensions Tricep dips

I don't think I've ever been able to do a full pull-up in my life. I find pull-ups and other body weight exercises hard to get your first one. Then you start to get the full range of motion and you start really stringing them together. Use bands, negatives, etc. and in no time you'll be doing all sorts of stuff you never thought possible. Just keep at it.

HIIT cardio tonight, followed by core. 3 sets of 4 exercises, 45 seconds on 10 seconds rest, twice through each group.

I took another rest day just because I was lazy. I've still works out more this week than I have in awhile so I'm determined to keep improving.
Today I did a BBM maintenance routine and 5 min abs. I feel good!

Squat day. Couldn't quite hit the numbers I wanted, but still a decent day. I'm hoping the swimming will help get rid of some of the DOMS.

I'm still sore from my core workout on Friday. Oof. I took yesterday, both from tracking and working out. I chased my 2-yr old ago outside at H's work picnic instead. Today is W5D2 of C25K, and a leg/butt strength unit. I'm excited for this one: descending reps with ascending weight. Should be fun.

Did kickboxing in the park yesterday, which was just ok. Kickboxing back in the gym this morning, which was killer.

So I'm going to sound like a creep, but GhoatMonket, you lift competitively, no? I recall my SO talking about a badass woman who can lift all the things. You? Any tips on shoulder flexibility? I mostly do bodyweight exercises, but try to keep DLs, OHSs, and front squats in my routine periodically. I'm in my garage without a cage so anything I do requires the ability to clean and press. So, lower weight, but I find even with lower weight my shoulders are just too inflexible to keep a safe overhead squat. All the weight is too far forward.

Just seeing him snap all the way to the back made me wince. It feels so good though once you can do it. I prefer to use bands instead of a stick. Same concept though.

The trainer wasn't in today, so I repeated last week's leg day. But I pushed myself to do the full 3 reps for my quads instead of the 2 I managed last time, so BAM! 🙌🏻

My ass is killing me from yesterday's session. I was going to do HIIT today but forget that. Did a shoulder, arm and chest session instead. Also, TIL, protein powder in plain Greek yogurt tastes like ass.

BBM maintenance routine done. I added weight today and it kicked my butt. So good.
I'm so glad I discovered HIIT. It's really helped me learn to push myself through that hard point where I want to quit. Knowing I can rest in less than a minute is so helpful.
