Sorry PinkFreud we had one of those nights Thursday (except just one kid, up until 2:45am, then up for the day 5:30am). I don't know how I will/would cope with 2+ kids not sleeping.

I took Reese to see the Captain Underpants movie yesterday.
She is now writing a book about Captain Underpants.
It was her best friend's birthday--so the mom took her son (who was three) and the daughter (who is 6) and invited us. The theater was pretty crowded but I did notice that Reese and her friend were the ONLY two girls in the theater. They loved it though.

PB ate my post.
It's Saturday night here. MH and I started a new tradition. It's DS's birthday tomorrow (2 years old?!!!). We got drunk and made his cake and wrapped his presents.

H left for work a little while ago, and he probably won't get home until 2 AM. Both kids have inexplicably been up since 5. It's going to be a looooong day.

It's DS's preschool graduation and picnic today. I can't believe he won't be going back in the fall and is starting kindergarten.

DD is going to Safety Town next week to get ready for K and it's going to be so weird dropping her off at an elementary school. She's ready but I don't think I am 😞

Honestly it was better than I thought. My expectations were low. I mean, there was tons of poop/fart jokes--because duh, Captain Underpants---but it did have a positive message about friendship and laughter. The three kids were completely focused during it--ages were 3, 6, and 6. Two girls and a boy.

DS was up at 6 sharp. I'm trying to decide if I want today to be productive or lazy. We have no plans.

It's DD's first birthday today so we have lots of stuff to do for the party this afternoon. Excited to see lots of family and friends later, but right now I'm getting in my baby snuggles.

Helping host SIL's baby shower today. I still have so much to do to get ready for it, but watching the Wiggles with DS and drinking coffee instead.

DS is having a meltdown because I fixed his toy...that he was mad wasn't working. I think someone should not have gotten up at 5:30.

Good morning. Just up with my little man. At least he slept til 6 so that's reasonable I suppose.
I'm getting my hair done this afternoon and I can't wait to be pampered for a couple hours. I've had a rough week emotionally and I'm ready for a mental break.

I have a wax appointment at 1 and then I'm stuck in the yard spreading more mulch. This is my life now.

Thanks! Second or third last I think. @viola was last, are you here??? I think there was some technicality with me and another poster due to time zone and date differences here and in northern hemisphere.

☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️
I have showings today and then we're going to dinner with some of our neighbor BFFs. I need a night where I sleep for approximately 17 hours, not 5.

It's birthday - day! And MH thought he was bringing the kids to the wrong train station. And DS's party is (and the train leaves) in 6h. Even though we've had umpteen conversations and emails about this birthday with the correct station referenced and I've told him that I'm anxious people are going to miss the train.
