Thought I'd just start this up and see if there was interest... if there is I'm happy to keep posting weekly. 1. How many weeks pregnant are you? 2. How old is your nursling? 3. Any issues with supply, pain, or nursing aversion? 4. Are you still nursing during the night? Do you have plans for night-weaning? 5. Would you prefer that your LO wean before the new baby comes, or do you plan to tandem nurse? 6. Any questions for other moms? Please feel free to suggest questions for future check-ins.

1. How many weeks pregnant are you? 8 weeks, 3 days 2. How old is your nursling? Just about 2 years, 5 months 3. Any issues with supply, pain, or nursing aversion? I had bad aversion when I was pregnant with DS2 and nursing DS1. I haven't had it so far this time, but my nipples are very sensitive. I've been taking B6/Unisom overnight, and I'm not sure that it's real great for my supply, but it hasn't put DS2 off so far. 4. Are you still nursing during the night? Do you have plans for night-weaning? Nooooo, thank god no. 5. Would you prefer that your LO wean before the new baby comes, or do you plan to tandem nurse? I would prefer that he wean. There are a few perks to tandem nursing, but I'd rather focus my energy on the new baby. 6. Any questions for other moms? Not right now.
If you have any questions about nursing while pregnant/tandem nursing, I am happy to answer! I nursed DS1 through my pregnancy with DS2, and went on to tandem nurse for over a year. I finally weaned (with more than a bit of prodding) DS1 at several months past 4-- ugh.

1. How many weeks pregnant are you? 7w2d 2. How old is your nursling? 25 months 3. Any issues with supply, pain, or nursing aversion? Sharp pain on latch, but fine after that. Seem to remember that going away when DD was nursing while I was pregnant with DS as I got further along. 4. Are you still nursing during the night? Do you have plans for night-weaning? Well, DS was sleeping through the night but has started to get up every night now. Not sure if he senses a change or if his eczema is waking him (much worse in winter). He had cut down to 2-3x's per week but is now back to every day. 5. Would you prefer that your LO wean before the new baby comes, or do you plan to tandem nurse? I'll cut him off when baby comes like I did DD (she was 6w short of 3yo), but not before unless he gives up on his own. DD had reflux and trouble gaining weight when she was little so I worry about the newborn sharing with a toddler. Silly, I know lots of women do it with no problem. DS is built like a tank though, so he got plenty as a baby! 6. Any questions for other moms? not right now
