I used a mirror to shave my lady bits in the shower yesterday. Then I proceeded to step on the mirror and break it. 7 years of bad luck coming my way I guess.

peachesncream LOL! I have pretty much given up. So I failed my 1 hr glucose by 9 points. How doomed am I? I passed win DD1 but hadn’t eaten anything. This new doc told me to eat eggs before. Major regret.

peachesncream oh no! I fully plan on getting a Brazilian once I’m on leave. Which is Christmas week. Mamas getting a Brazilian for Christmas. 🤣 watermelonseed oh nooo mine told me I should eat before too, just nothing overly sugary. I ignored them. Morning ladies. I kept waking up last night. At one point i woke up and our husky was sitting next to the bed with his face 2 inches from mine watching me sleep. Wtf dog?! It scared the crap out of me!

watermelonseed it could honestly go both ways. I passed with DS woh flying colors and then this time I’ve been diagnosed with GD. Know that we have a pretty good support system here if you do fail the three hour.

My other confession is that I am fully spiraling on ways to flip this gosh darn breech baby and I am trying LITERALLY EVERYTHING. Last night I propped my hips up while putting an ice pack on the top of my belly and playing music towards my vagina. My husband thinks I am crazy.

I have sort of a gross confession. A little while ago I was sure I was having a contraction. I had a strong cramping pain that was kind of rising up and came back down...it was gas. 🤷🏻♀️ For someone that felt of ton of contractions with a previous kid I really suck at telling the difference between the real thing and gas.

So to follow up on my late night randoms post here is the story behind the girl that now will have to pay to retake my class.
In my class they have to do 15 hours of service learning/volunteering and journal about it. Well, I got an email from one of the "supervisors" that told me her student informed her that she was splitting her time between two locations and she gave me dates/times she was there and it was approximately 4 hours. I checked my emails and then looked at her journal and she stated she did all 15 hours at this location. One day she journaled that she was there 6 hours the teacher told me 40 minutes!!
So I called her out on it, professionally. I got an email last night from her saying she did not do all 15 hours but thought she had more than 4. Apologized for stretching her hours and asked if she could still complete her hours plus more to make up for it. Our final for this class is Monday, no. I informed her I didn't even feel comfortable sending her back to that location and that it's too late, she should have come to me before the deadline asking for an extension. I also told her that part of my class is professionalism and preparing her for the workforce so doing this in a work setting could likely cost her a job.
If she stays in my major she will have to retake the class which is at least a couple thousand $$.

In other news...
Had my 36w check up this morning. GBS swab and cervix check. I'm 1 cm dilated and she *thinks* he's still head down but wants to check again next week and verify by ultrasound if needed. (apparently they feel for a couple bones and she feels hard but couldn't make out the bones). That internal check was quite uncomfortable since she was putting so much pressure trying to feel his head. I told her I was ready to be done and she joked and told me to at least hold out until she's back in the office on the 18th. Yea...I'll make that my reason....

Oh because I am full of confessions today... I have started stockpiling booze for after this baby is born 😂 there was a REALLY GOOD SALE on liquor at the grocery store and I ordered a case of wine as a Christmas present to myself. What can I say, this has been one crazy roller coaster of a pregnancy and momma needs a drink.

peachesncream hahaha if I would still be pregnant Jan 18 no one would want to be around me. I can't even imagine making it to 40 weeks with the pelvic pain I'm having. My MIL apologized to DH last night if I do go to 40 or overdue because she thinks I'll be miserable to live with. She's right...

I think I used up all of my productivity yesterday... Other than to get food I have not moved from the couch since I got up this morning. I have things that need to get done but nothing super urgent so here I sit...

Hi gang,
I am still feeling pretty awful. I ran a low grade fever all night and still can't stomach more than a sip of water every hour or so. It's the worst. My DD and H are both home too and I just wish I was by myself 😩

Wow I apparently should watch what I say to my OB? My neurologist just text me to see if everything was okay because I made a side comment to my OB about how high of a dose I was on and it got put in my chart. Sounds like my neuro keeps tabs on my more than I realized.

Ultrasound at MFM today! Baby proves the old wives' tale true and has a TON of hair! (I have horrible reflux/heartburn.) And she's head down. We saw 3D too and we both think she looks like DS did as a newborn. So crazy

I'm drawing a blank for stocking stuffers for DH. I plan on getting him a gift card to his favorite craft beer store but everything else I'm coming up with is super practical (which is kinda what we got growing up, new toothbrush, gum, etc.) and boring. He loves super heros and Star Wars, I'm already getting him some action figures (he specifically asked for) and Star Wars Trivial Pursuit, clothes and some other things from his wish list. His favorite things are beer, movies and toys...

aprilz81 what about socks? DH loves these pricey hiking socks and I got him a few pairs for his stocking . I also got him the men’s beauty box from target that he obviously didn’t ask for but I thought was fun for $7 DH helped me shave down there a few nights ago. I can’t see down there anymore and wanted at least one more trim up before baby I’m off today and got all the presents wrapped and need to assemble Christmas cards. I have a long list of baby stuff to do too but instead I’m catching up on Teen Mom 2.

sarahh, I bought him new boxers for Christmas (his old ones are getting holes in them) so I don't want to go super practical... In a lot of ways he is like buying for a kid, he loves toys but I'm already getting him some and none are small enough to fit in the stocking to begin with.

Since we are talking stockings, DH wants to fill one for baby since he could be here then. So far on my list is a pacifier and I could throw a couple onesies in there. I don't really feel like buying extra stuff.
