For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 3. Does your LO drink other milk besides breast milk? How did you introduce it? 4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any current challenges? Questions for other moms? Non-BFing question of the week: If you had unlimited time, what new hobby would you pick up?

Sorry I missed a few weeks! November was a busy month. 1. 2 this week 2. 6 times or so 3. Not really, we try to get her to drink some coconut milk or hemp milk at school. When she switched for an in home daycare to preschool at 16.5 months I stopped pumping and daycare tried to transition her by mixing the milks in her bottle. 4. We usually side lay. That has always been her favorite. Sometimes she'll do a craddle during the day when she needs a snuggle. QOTW: I picked up knitting this year. I love it. I grew up sailing and really miss it. If I had more money and more time, I would do all the boating activities (sailing, kayaking, the like).

1. How old is your LO? 3.5 and nearly 2 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 0-2 3. Does your LO drink other milk besides breast milk? How did you introduce it? Yep! Homo for DD. 2% for DS. They were introduced to it at daycare. 4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? Side-lying.
Tandem Nursing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any current challenges? Questions for other moms? We’re good. Still on the road to weaning. DS asked for milk the other night and DD followed suit and DD turned it down at the last second and went for a cuddle instead. I’m at peace with it.
Non-BFing question of the week: If you had unlimited time, what new hobby would you pick up? Maybe carpentry. Do I get unlimited money too?

1. How old is your LO? - 2.75 years
2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? - 0-2
3. Does your LO drink other milk besides breast milk? How did you introduce it? - cows milk. In a cup ;-) he never really drank breastmilk from a bottle or cup, but he took to cows milk fine.
4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? - cradle
Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? - I am so discouraged. DS basically only nurses at bedtime now, and lately I spend all evening throwing up and can’t do bedtime. He asks to nurse and I just can’t. It’s breaking my heart. Wish he wanted to nurse in the morning when I feel okay. ^I wrote the above this afternoon- my OB gave me a third Rx and warned me I’d be super groggy if not asleep pretty quickly after I took it. But it let me do bedtime!!!
Non-BFing question of the week: If you had unlimited time, what new hobby would you pick up? - a hobby I’ve never tried? Hmmm. Sewing, maybe? Photography?

1. How old is your LO? 22. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 23. Does your LO drink other milk besides breast milk? How did you introduce it? He very occasionally drinks WCM but I don't think he's a huge fan. I gave up putting it in his lunch at DC bc he never drank it. We introduced at 1 year- I had to mix it with BM at first bc he wasn't really into it.4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? Sitting on my lap or side-lying.Pregnant & BFing Moms: How are you doing this week? Any issues with supply, pain, aversion? Questions for other moms? I've been doing B6/Unisom overnight for nausea... I'm sure it's not great for my supply, but I just can't deal with 2 kids, working f/t and constant nausea. I am not at the point of having aversion yet, but my nipples are so sensitive it feels like DS2 is literally chewing on them. DS2 has also been sooooooooooo cranky at home, probably bc I've been so out of it and not able to give either kid much attention. I'm kind of hoping that DS2 will self-wean, but I'm trying not to push him before he's ready.Non-BFing question of the week: If you had unlimited time, what new hobby would you pick up? I think I'd just use the time to restart my old hobbies! Crocheting, drawing, etc. I think it would be neat to learn carpentry bc it has so many practical applications, but you need a lot of space and equipment. byjove, congrats on 2 years! lily, i hope the new prescription works well for you!

Almost 2 3-7 and overnight Wcm at daycare. We just do water at home typically. We’ve always done cradle and side lying when in bed. I tried football but didn’t love it. We also have the gymnastics nursing some with dd.
Not a new hobby but I would really like to seriously get back into yoga.
Hope the nausea gets better for you guys!

I changed my mind on the GTKY. I’d love to learn to ride a bicycle.

For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated! 1. How old is your LO? almost 27 months 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? just in the morning. an occasional after daycare reconnect session 3. Does your LO drink other milk besides breast milk? How did you introduce it? organic wcm. We introduced it at daycare in a sippy cup when the time came. 4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? cradle. She's still so tiny (21 lbs) so she feels like a baby anyway. Non-BFing question of the week: If you had unlimited time, what new hobby would you pick up? sleeping

1. 24 mo 2. As many as I'll let him. 3. He does drink wcm, but neither kids really drink much. We used a sippy cup, he refused bottles altogether. 4. Cradle, but only the right side produces anything.
I would like to learn how to knit.

vvvvvfee Congratulations on your pregnancy!! 1. 2 (25 months) 2. Around 4 3. She drinks cows milk and sometimes almond milk. I tried to introduce it around 15 months but she didn’t like it. She started drinking it when she decided on her own that she wanted what was in daddy’s cup. Now she drinks it consistently. 4. Cradle and side lying. Tandem: Things are ok. Sometimes it feels like someone is attached to my boob alll day. DD1 will ask to nurse 10 or more times a day. That is to much for me so I limit her to 4 sometimes 5. Non BFing question: Photography and I would improve my bird watching / identifying

1. How old is your LO? Just turned 2! 2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 2-3, though lately he's been asking for more 3. Does your LO drink other milk besides breast milk? How did you introduce it? He drinks organic whole milk, we just gave a cup of it one day when my freezer stash was starting to dwindle & he was going to be starting DC (they won't serve BM in the toddler room). He transitioned seamlessly & he really loves milk. 4. What is your favorite nursing position for a toddler? We have almost always just done cross cradle with the nursing pillow or a couple throw pillows on my lap.
Non-BFing question of the week: If you had unlimited time, what new hobby would you pick up? Definitely cooking/baking, trying new recipes, honing my skills. Also yoga.
