enchanted - Kids' holiday programs crack me up! Glad he did well! She's 4. Her "dance recital" is this Saturday. It's really just a potluck with parents and stuff, but her class is doing a little dance. She is very excited and "kinda nervous, Mom - everyone will see me!" as she says with a smile LOL She's also stepped up and defended a kid at school a few times recently. Her friend is shy and a bit socially awkward, and J said other kids make fun of her. J said, "But, Mom, I told them not to say that about Friend because she's just shy. Then, they stopped." Who knows the full story, but I'm proud of her for standing up for a buddy. AFM, I'm okay. Stressed about my upcoming tax season hours and how little I'll see my family. I'm looking at 10-hour days Monday through Friday, full Saturdays, and some Sundays. Ugh. Bring on the overtime! QOTW: She raved about sledding, snowmen, and snow angels, so she's all about it. Last year she had a gray snow suit (which she'll wear again this year) and she hated the color. So she wore her Elsa dress-up dress on top of it. Always finding a way to make it work! LOL

He is 7, he is so good lately. He is busy with the school play, church Christmas pageant, winter concert and soon he will have basketball too.
I'm good, at my lowest weight since probably middle school and it's awesome. Got my arm implant taken out on Monday so we are going to start ttc sometime next year and I'm looking forward to that, kinda, haha!
He really enjoys the ice skating lessons he has taken the last 4 years.

DS1 (6) has been good lately. Last night, he was going out of his way to be helpful, like convincing DS2 (who hates showers/baths) to get in the shower last night, and turning his own lights out at bedtime when I was having a hard time with DS2. When I went in to hug him good night well past bedtime last night, he told me he was going to be really well behaved for the next two days. So it's sweet but now I'm suspicious...
QOTW: He loves snow. He's really excited that it's almost time to build snowmen and go sledding. He's also getting really good at recognizing animal tracks in the snow, so he likes that too.
