While driving this morning I suddenly burst into tears while my rainbow was singing Frosty the Snowman, because I'm still just so grateful to have him. And it got me thinking about what you're little ones are doing.
So let's brag about our sunshines, rainbows, belly babies or your angels of you like.

My sunshine is almost 8 and recently got into the school play, he auditioned and became the only second grader to make it. He is so smart, creative and loves to read. Also he just finished soccer and basketball starts soon.
My rainbow is 2 and while he has always been cranky, he is also so so sweet and cuddly. He is a big mommas boy, if I'm around then Daddy can't do anything for him. He is a good sharer, especially with his brother.

My rainbow is 18 months and surprises me all the time. We had been working on colors, but focusing mostly on red and yellow with little success (or so I thought). Then she was playing with her Duplos the other night and SO asked her for a yellow one, and she grabbed yellow. I thought for sure it was just a fluke because her hand was already close to a yellow, so we kept asking. She chose correctly 9 times before she got sick of that game and walked away. I was floored. She was able to choose red, blue, green, and yellow. I can't believe she actually knows some of her colors. I really didn't think she would figure it out for a few more months.

DS1 has been doing all sorts of little grown up things lately. Sometimes it shocks me how well he cares for his brother. He's also been working really hard in school. At the beginning of the year, we were really worried about his reading. He's still not at grade level, but he's been reading for fun, and he'll read out loud for more than just me, H, or his teacher now. He read bedtime stories to his younger cousins last weekend.
DS2 is hilarious, and he knows it. He's very in touch with his emotions for a toddler too. Last weekend was a total whirlwind, and we got to see his cousins from WI (who we rarely see) for a short time. At one point, I found him sitting quietly rocking himself in a little rocking chair, and when I asked him what was wrong, he said "I'm just too happy."
