Things might be looking up.
There is insurance through the state that I think we’ll qualify for. It’s similar to MA but for families like mine whose income is to high to qualify for MA. So we’d likely pay for it (I’ll get an idea on cost when I get the paperwork). They would pay for anything our primary insurance does not.

Betweenthelines, good luck! Houses where I live are going fast. We put an offer on our house within hours of seeing it. It seems to be a seller's market. jedi, I'm things seem to be working out for DS to see the specialist. Peekaru, Congrats on the shizzle My sisters and I are going to see Lady Bird tonight. I'm planning to eat mucho popcorn and regretting it tomorrow morning at my OB weigh-in.

You know what’s fun (read not fun) going to urgent care at 630 because your toddler shoved a dried chickpea up his nose. And nothing you tried would make it come out. That’s super (not) fun

Just saw Brandi Carlile play in my little town. It was a free "pop up" show so they only did like 8 songs. One of which was "The Mother" so of course I was crying for that one! It was really awesome. Now I need to wind down to go to sleep.

I'm have to catch up. We went to see The Blind Boys of Alabama tonight as a Christmas gift for my in-laws. We had front row seats. I did not know what to expect (DH bought the tickets). They are pretty amazing! The lead singer is like 93 and has been singing in this band for 78 years! Incredible!

What a roller coaster of a day jedi. Sorry about the trip to urgent care but I'm glad that things are looking up a little in terms of getting services for your son.

GL Betweenthelines with your house. FX it sells quickly. I'm so glad ours sold quickly. I could not imagine keeping it in show condition long term!

Intake appointment with my OB today. Not looking forward to seeing how much weight I've gained already. Fx the appointment doesn't take two hours! Looking forward to another ultrasound though.

I can't live with it in that crazy staging condition with nothing on counters, etc. I'm just making sure it doesn't look chaotic. People do live here after all!

I am so tired from our trip to Chicago. Pretty sure I gained 4 pounds. I'm going into work late and planned to straighten up my house and unpack but I'm sitting on the couch relaxing because I feel like I'm coming on and DNW another 3 week cold like I had in October.

So the photos look bomb.com, but if they schedule a showing, I just tidy up a bit. A toddler and a preschooler do live here. No way I'd be able to keep pulling out the toaster or the kuerig, or their toys.. or...

Betweenthelines and skinandbones I was ridiculous and was determined to keep it 'show-ready' because I'm lazy. So we just avoided our house like the plague! I had planned to do zero cooking until it sold. (I told friends and family that we would be inviting ourselves over for dinner etc. Until it sold! Lol). Thankfully it was only 2 days, or else I would have gotten to the point of being okay to 'actually live' in the house.

H emailed me earlier. FIL lives in Ventura, CA. There are awful fires there right now. They were on the beach, the rest of their neighborhood has devastated already and it wasn't looking good for their house. The winds are 50mph and thoughts of containment aren't good right now. Thankfully they are safe. Just waiting to hear what happens.

I seriously do not want to work today. There are so many crazy things happening at work and difficult conversations that need to be had, and I don't want to do any of it. I directly supervise 10 people and 3 of them have very serious things going on. It is making me feel super behind with everything else...

W're not in a rush to sell and I'm definitely not looking to live in a staged home with 3 other people. If it delays our sale then whatever. They go go kick rocks.

For those of you who had your wisdom teeth out ...
How long was it until your gums fully closed up? I am still picking out pretty significantly sized pieces of food from the holes back there and I just am afraid it's going to get infected or whatever. It's been 2.5 weeks. The stitches dissolved after 1 week

Children is suppose to call. They said within 3 days. I left them a message on Thursday morning. Thursday, Friday, Monday.... Tuesday is technically day 4 isn’t it.
OT called. Our insurance company will deny anything considered a developmental delay. Why else would someone need OT? I mean come on?!?! The parental calculator on that supplemental insurance I mentioned yesterday is estimating it to cost over 400 a month. Which we can not afford. That would be about 1200 a month on insurance premiums. I’ll still apply I think. I heard it was expensive. So I shouldn’t be surprised
