What are your favorite holiday movies and books? The cheesier, the better.
Would be fantastic if they were available to stream or cheap kindle read.

White Christmas has always been my favorite Christmas movie.
Netflix has tons of what look to be super cheesy holiday movies.

I just watched The Mistle-Tones with Tia Mowry and Tori Spelling. It was cute and cheesy. I’m a sucker for all things musical.

White Christmas is my favorite movie.
Books are The Homecoming (Earl Hamner), Letters from father Christmas (J.R.R. Tolkien), and The Autobiography of Santa Claus (Jeff Guinn), which even though I am not a religious person, I still really enjoyed.

The original cartoon Grinch movie will always be my favorite holiday movie. I hate the Jim Carrey one.

Holiday Engagement is one of my favorite cheesy Christmas movies, along with A Very Brady Christmas, both of which are on Hulu. I also love Love The Coopers, Love Actually, The Holiday, Elf, and Christmas Vacation.

My tv is pretty much only on ABC Family or Hallmark from middle November on.
We love Christmas vacation, Santa Clause, Home Alone and DD will watch Elf and the Grinch all season. We also like Charlie Brown Christmas and the Shrek and prep and landing ones.
Plus I love all the cheesy Hallmark movies which I know netflix has a lot that are the same types.
Books: I read mostly the romance Christmas books: Debbie Macomber, Shelia Roberts, Elin Hilderbrand and more.

Santa Claus: the Movie is my must-watch every year. I have it on DVD, so I can enjoy John Lithgow as an evil toy executive and Dudley Moore as a wayward elf who effs Christmas up with his crappy inventions. It's really more delightful than my description! Amazon has it to rent streaming for $1.99.
I also love The Santa Clause, and the classic claymation movies like Rudolph and Year without a Santa Claus. And the original Grinch movie.
And John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together gets me every time. I'm pretty sure it's only found on Youtube.

Muppet Family Christmas is also wonderful.
Everyone goes to Fozzie's mom's for Christmas. Doc and the Fraggles show up, as do the Sesame Street Muppets. Doc rescues Miss Piggy from blizzard and Jim Henson makes a cameo at the end.
I found it on DVD a few years ago, but I think the only other place to get it is YouTube.

I’m working my way down the list of “best” Hallmark-esque Christmas movies. I draw a hard line at Candace Cameron Bure. So far I’ve watched whatever netflix’s new one is (Christmas Prince?), Snow Bride (not terrible), and the one about a Christmas ghost with a very hipster haircut at the Inn (Spirit of Christmas?)
The one with Sam Heughan pre-outlander ranks amongst my favorite mostly terrible royalty-themed Christmas movies.

Jack Frost and The Santa Clause are two I like to watch every year.
I also like, the original Grinch, and I’ll be home for Christmas. We cut cable so I need to find movies on Netflix to get my fix of cheesy Hallmark movies.

I love terrible cheesy Christmas movies. I'm watching Christmas Crush on Hulu right now and it is awful. I love it. I have watched The Christmas Prince, Holiday in Handcuffs, and Holidaze (the last 2 on Freeform).
My favorites I must watch every year are Elf, Home Alone, and Christmas Vacation. I also love The Holiday, even though I don't consider it really a Christmas movie.
