Add me to the normally well behaved toddler acting out since bringing DD2 home club. Definitely cried some ugly cries in the last couple days over how I’ll handle this once H leaves again! 😞

Anyone else dealing with terrible night sweats? I'm waking up absolutely soaked every morning. It's like IVF all over again!

I'm also in the toddler troubles club. DD isn't being terrible to her brother, but she won't listen at all. It's really frustrating and then I feel bad when I react to her, not by yelling, but by being fairly stern.

kensie5226 I don't do professional photos. Tried with the first kid and found it way too stressful.

We do professional photos and like a lot of them. The only reason we started doing them is because I found a photographer who has my same personality and is so freaking reasonable it's ridic. Like $30 For minis ridic.

Oh yes, DD needs a cuddle at least once during the middle of the night.

We do "professional" photos, as in we had student photographers do our wedding pictures, because cheap, and we keep using them any time we need pictures. We paid $150 for the newborn pictures for the sitting fee and rights to photos. Our hospital charges $100/image to get newborn pictures so I think we're coming out ahead.

Re nightsweats - this time I had (and still do have) night chills. Baby 1 I had the sweats and would sleep on towels and need to change clothes MOTN. So gross.
Re toddlers - you've all seen my prior posts, but I'll reiterate that yes, my toddler is also having a hard time and it also makes me sad and frustrated and I think I'm handling it much worse than I'd like to because I'm so sleep deprived. We're all doing the best we can and we'll all get there.
Re professional photos - didn't do them with DD1 (aside from the professional photos they had in the hospital), but have been trying to get them done somewhat regularly for the family. We had a pro shoot L's baptism (and our religious wedding - same day - we had gotten married legally outside the Church but our priest asked us to make it official before baptizing L), and have done family photos a few times. We just did photos this fall and has the same photographer do the newborn shoot last week and I cannot wait to get them back A every time my email dings I get so excited and then disappointed.

Toddler loves loves loves his baby brother and doesn't act jealous of him but Fuck if he doesn't listen, won't behave, has an attitude, does annoying shit just for attention, and is driving me absolutely bonkers which is very abnormal for me. Like I legit want to scream at him. I don't but I want to.

I know this is par for course but it doesn't make it suck any less.

Last night of guaranteed uninterrupted sleep, so what do I do? Forget to take my Zantac at dinner and get hit with awful reflux from 3-5am. Womp womp.
Have to report to the hospital at 4pm for cervical softening, induction tomorrow morning at 7.
