How is it going?
Any challenges? Anything getting easier? Any changes?
Any questions for the other mamas?
How often do you nurse?
How is nighttime going? Do you still nurse overnight?
What are your thoughts and feels regarding weaning (if any)?
What is the one product you would recommend to a new nursing momma?

It’s going better. I finally have got her to stop nursing at night. She’s still waking up and asking for it, but she hasn’t had milk overnight even once this week. I seriously got to the point where I couldn’t take it anymore, so I’m glad the rough part is behind us.
Still nursing 5-ish times a day, but I’m fine with that.
Not in a rush to wean, and planning on playing it by ear.
I would recommend the Medela hand pump to new moms. I only had a double electric pump with dd1, and thought I didn’t need a manual one, too, but I love that thing. I wouldn’t use it if I had to pump at work full time, but for the occasional getaway, it’s perfect.

nellieoleson, I might need to get one of those and then maybe even do a getaway How is it going? It's going really well. Still a favorite part of my day and she hasn't really changed nursing habits in a long time. We have nursed on demand for a long time. Any challenges? Anything getting easier? Any changes? I need to be like nellieoleson and cut-down on night-time. It seems like she is on the boob a LOT early morning hours. Any questions for the other mamas? Not at the moment. How often do you nurse? We do 3-5 or 6 depending on whether it's a work day. + overnight. How is nighttime going? Do you still nurse overnight? See above. I'm probably ready to cut down on that. What are your thoughts and feels regarding weaning (if any)? Also playing it by ear. I plan to let her lead the way unless I changed my mind on that or pregnancy changes that (TTCing) What is the one product you would recommend to a new nursing momma? I really used my boppy and my breastfriend a lot in the beginning so that's good for the first. I keep mentioning these, but i'm obsessed with the undercover mama nursing tanks. I think I will wear one everyday for the rest of my life. they do not have a hook or shelf thing. they just stop where the hook would be and you can attach it to a nursing or regular bra if needed.

We are still going. It's all very easy and pleasant except for when it isn't and then I wish she was weaned but it's just so easy most of the time and makes her so happy. Maybe next month we will wean. I never imagined we would still be nursing at almost 2.

I think we're weaned! He hasn't nursed at all in over a week now, and before that it was not even every day. I think my milk was pretty much dried up, though, so I'm not surprised. I still randomly get a let down feeling sometimes, but I think maybe it's just a pregnancy symptom. LO is going through a phase where he's very into MH and wants daddy to put him to bed now, and even though I miss snuggling him, it's also a relief to hand off that duty for awhile.
