Do you have any unpopular opinions?
Throwback Thursday (I’m making this up as I go): What did you want to be when you grow up? Did you end up anywhere close to that?

Not sure if this is actually unpopular but I don’t like the so-called rule of waiting until second trimester to tell people about being pregnant. I understand why some people wait, but I don’t wait, even having has a loss prior I still didn’t wait.
Throwback Thursday: When I was a kid I always said I’d be an OB Doctor. But now I’m a project specialist for an office environment, so not even close!

I’m not waiting until 2nd tri to tell friends and family. I might wait until then to make the “Facebook announcement” though : )

I've told my mom and 2 friends. I was planning on waiting to even tell my mom until 12 weeks, which is right around Christmas, but I had spotting around 5 weeks and needed to talk to someone.
We told people early with DD and personally I'd just prefer less people to tell if I had a loss. We tried only telling our parents last time and they blabbed right away (MIL was on the phone immediately after telling us it "wasn't the right time" 😒ll. I don't really want to explain a loss to my 5yo, so we're waiting

I would have likely done the same last pregnancy. After having my loss I will likely announce soon. I need/needed the support. I told my immediate family the day I found out this time (at 3w 4d).

I’m not big on telling people. We waited until 24 weeks to tell our parents about DD3 and that was only because I asked a question on a FB page that I didn’t realize wasn’t a private group. With DD2, I didn’t even tell anybody at work. I think they finally got the balls to say something to me around 34 weeks lol.
