Age of LO(s): 11 months next week 😩
Month/Cycle: 4/3
CD/DPO: 29/10
Timing: -2,-1
RRCS: I got a positive! I’m pregnant! I’m in shock. I got a positive on 3 different brands of tests. I am waiting until Saturday to tell DH, because the loss was so hard last cycle so I want to surprise him.
We celebrate Christmas! We have Christmas with my family a weekend or two before Christmas and then celebrate with DHs family on Christmas Eve. I always love that we get alone time with each family.

Congrats whitney! So excited for you guys! Age of LO(s): Will be 3 in February! Month/Cycle: 3/3 CD/DPO: 29/-- Timing: -- RRCS: I think I'm finally ovulating. I'm experiencing my typical symptoms: backaches, sore boobs, EWCM. We definitely did not hit the fertile window if I have ovulated, but FX for next cycle because that's when we'll be actively TTC. Vent ahead: It's been hard for me to finally be ok with trying for a second. Most of the time I really think I'd be ok with just DD. However, I know I want to give her a sibling and I've always said I wanted 2 kids. DD is just wildly jealous so I know for us, if we would have started to try any sooner and had a baby when she was too young to understand, it probably wouldn't have gone over well with her. I finally feel like she is in a better place where she is able to "share" me and she would understand more that we would have a new baby coming. So I finally feel ready. Ahhh, it's so scary to say that. I'm so afraid of a lot of things that would change but mostly, I'm excited to see her and a little sibling together. GTKY: do you celebrate a holiday in December? Which one? Any favorite traditions? We celebrate Christmas. My in-laws live out of state so we celebrate with my side of the family. On Christmas Eve we usually go to 4:00 mass and then go over my grandma's and order pizza and make fried calamari. Christmas day we open presents and then go over to my parent's and exchange presents with them and have an early dinner.

peachinini I totally get that! I am excited for Isaac and this new baby to grow up together, but I am a little sad that I won’t have any more “alone” time with Isaac. But I’m happy he will have a sibling and won’t know any better. I totally see both sides!

Age of LO(s): 4 in January
Month/Cycle:9--1AL
CD/DPO: 22/10
Timing: Good...-4, -2, O
RRCS: I POAS this morning just because...I don't know why because I never get early positive tests. I swear the faintest of faint lines showed up immediately...but not dark enough to be sure if there is a line or if I'm insane. My last pregnancy my first frer was like that. It wasn't positive but it wasn’t negative either. I'll pee on something again for the next few days. Definitely not getting my hopes up at all as it's probably just wishful thinking and my eyes playing tricks on me...but I needed to vent and share my crazy with someone.
GTKY: do you celebrate a holiday in December? Which one? Any favorite traditions? We have St.Nicholas day near the beginning of December and then Christmas in December and again in January. We do lots of celebrating the next couple of months...

peachinini It took me this long to be ok with TFAS as well. I am happy with just DD and she repeatedly tells me she does not want a baby...but SO and I agreed to try for one more so here we are. I've put a time limit on it though (we're both getting old) so if it doesn't happen for us I'm ok with that. I'm still worried how DD will react to another one though if we are lucky enough to get pregnant again. She is my shadow and I can't see her being happy about having to share me. She only just stopped nursing during my recent hospital stay so that might give you an idea of how attached she is to me:)

sammysam That's funny, we've asked DD if she wants a baby and she also says no. Little stinkers. Everyone I know that has two has reassured me it's the best decision. It's just hard to imagine our dynamic changing and not being able to give DD my full attention. I also feel like if it didn't happen for us, I'd be ok with her. She completely fulfills me. I can imagine how attached your DD is to you too. I think in the end, you will never regret having another child.

Congrats whitney, and I hope you see darker lines @ sammysam, Age of LO(s): 2 Month/Cycle: 3 CD/DPO: 25/5 or 6 Timing: -3, -1, O RRCS: FF has moved O from CD 19 to CD 20, back to CD 19. Either way timing should be fine. It's too early to do anything so I'm just trying to relax about it all and get prepared to move next week. GTKY: do you celebrate a holiday in December? Which one? Any favorite traditions? We celebrate Christmas and it is one of my favorite times of year. I'm hoping we will be relatively settled in the new house and can start to establish more traditions with DD. We do matching PJs and a movie for Christmas Eve and open stockings that night. We do all other gifts on Christmas morning after we eat breakfast tacos and have a nontraditional fajitas dinner.

Welp today looks totally negative. I'm thinking yesterday's test was just a bad one. Totally what I expected though.
Off to wait for CD 1...

Age of LO(s): Month/Cycle: 3 CD/DPO: My FF app isn't loading... but I'm CD 5 or 6 Timing: N/A yet RRCS: My cycles were normally 24-26 and last one was 50 so I'm just anxious to see what's gonna happen this time around. I'm not used to not having an general idea when I'll ovulate so it feels kind of sucky to think oh it might be somewhere between day 10-40. GTKY: do you celebrate a holiday in December? Which one? Any favorite traditions? DDs birthday we do xmas. I enjoy it and i'm excited for when dd is old enough to get into it. she's almost two so will start to be excited but not into santa yet etc. we need to start some traditions! I like the movie, pajamas, stocking idea. we always go down to my parents and celebrate with them and my brother's fam.

Age of LO(s): 2 Month/Cycle: 12/13 CD/DPO: CD 5 Timing: n/a RRCS: We start IF testing in January. Sigh. GTKY: do you celebrate a holiday in December? Which one? Any favorite traditions? We celebrate Christmas. No major traditions, but my family has always used the Spode Christmas china for the whole month, and I'm excited to have the space in our new house to pull my own set out this year.

I've been lurking and I hope you don't mind if I join.
Age of LO(s): 17 months
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 8
Timing: --
RRCS: I've never been too sure when I ovulate, so I'm using OPK test strips. With DS, I got KO from just getting busy for a week in the middle of my cycle for a few months. But now, I'm just curious.
GTKY: do you celebrate a holiday in December? Which one? Any favorite traditions? Christmas. This is the second year, H and I have had Christmas at home with us and DS. And it's become our favorite holiday because we can do it our way. We get a real tree, make a small, special dinner, and have a fire in the fireplace on Xmas eve. And open gifts and hang out in our jammies on Xmas day.

GTKY: do you celebrate a holiday in December? Which one? Any favorite traditions?
Christmas. Last year M and I made cookies for Santa on Christmas Eve. So I plan to do that again this year. We have some family that comes over to eat but Christmas morning is just us.

New to this check-in, missing my check in w/ BMB, but happy to see this one. Just got the green light yesterday to TTC AL.
Age of LO(s): 2.5 DS
Month/Cycle: 0
CD/DPO: --
Timing: unknown
RRCS: I found my fertility monitor after having misplaced it since moving and will be firing that up to see what it says soon, but for now I now on metformin and could see clearer cycles on the horizon.
GTKY: do you celebrate a holiday in December? Which one? Any favorite traditions? We celebrate Christmas and we do not really have any established traditions yet, but I do enjoy all the extra family time especially w/ my H and DS.

I'm just lurking through here for s&gs coming from Jan17, starting to think about when (or if) we want to TFAS. I'm SO GLAD I'm not absolutely crazy for not being sure I want a 2nd. I thought I was nuts, so thank you for providing me some reassurance that many of you felt the same way. Also, congrats whitney, praying for a take home baby for you!

Just wanted to update. My lines have gotten stronger, I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow. Just wanted to let you know that I won't be doing the TFAS thread anymore, so if someone wants to take over -go for it!

Age of LO(s): 4.5 and almost 2 Month/Cycle: 2 CD/DPO: 16 Timing: 🤷🏻♀️ RRCS: I need a CS. I got dotted cross hairs today and I am pretty sure they’re wrong. I normally have a post O temp above 98 degrees so I think the cross hairs will go away when I get a higher temp. I added a previous chart which is what they normally look like. Thoughts? GTKY: do you celebrate a holiday in December? Which one? Any favorite traditions? We celebrate Christmas. We have a lot of family traditions and the girls are loving all of it.

mishy, I think it all hinges on tomorrow's temp. How long have you been temping this time around? My temps have been different since having DS than they were for the 2 years I temped to TTA before him. Are you checking CM or using OPKs? I find those really helpful to narrow down O. Hope it sorts itself out soon.

mishy I would assume I had not o'd and have sex EOD until cycle day 18 or so. I agree you'll have to wait and see over the next 2 or 3 days.

Thanks guys. I had a repeat temp of 97.90 so I’m wondering if it’s the right temp or a thermometer malfunction. Either way I don’t think I Oed yet based on CM. I’ll pick up opks for next cycle if this one doesn’t work out.
