Welcome to the IVF check-in for November 27! Check-ins will be every Monday (babyhopes) and Thursday (bonzo). If we've left you off the check-in, or if you'd like to be added or removed, please let us know! This is a check-in for those who are doing IVF or FET. Please don’t hesitate to use this check-in for IVF/FET info and support even if you’re not currently cycling. If you are interested in joining, please fill us in on your cycle. Everyone is welcome. Hi guys. I'm sorry I have not been posting the check-in. I'm never on here. I feel it's best that I pass on the check-in to someone else. Can someone please take this over? It's super easy. You just copy and paste from the previous week, update statues, and come up with a QOTW.
AFM, I am going through an ERA. I am finally at the end and will have my biopsies tomorrow and Thursday. Other than that, we'll start FET prep with my next AF.

I'm finally through the other side of that awful exam, and of course immediately I came down with a cold. babyhopes, I hope the ETA goes well. Is it an odd thought that we may only need one check-in a week? I hear you about never being on here, things have just gotten completely crazy lately. AFM, still waiting, hopefully a winter cycle. I'm getting ready to hit the ground running prepping for our IVF cycle, which should hopefully be February, once the nurse gets back with me to schedule. I'm trying to figure out the best timing to remove the IUD and switch to BCP (?) in order to have as few things potentially impacting this one shot we are taking with IVF. Talk to me about supplements - I've seen CoQ10 and DHEA mentioned before to help improve egg quality. I want things to go as well as possible, so is it out of the question to start these supplements now in order to improve our odds for the cycle?

fikafairy I just started CoQ10 at the recommendation of my RE. I started it about 3 weeks ago and am prepping now for a fresh IVF cycle but the longer you are on the supplements for the better. Just had my suppression check this morning. She noticed a cyst but said it shouldn't affect the cycle so just waiting to hear from the nurses on confirmation of that. Then we will start lupron injections I believe this upcoming weekend.

babyhopes, GL with the ERA! fikafairy, congrats on finishing your exam. Feel better! Hope you cycle soon! jense927, I hope the cyst dissolves and that you can move ahead. AFM, first of all, I echo babyhopes with the TW thing. I was flamed for this myself and see why. Please use TW in the subject line and within the updates or posts. TW: LC mentioned I have SAIF, but feel that the SAIF board is completely dead. Do any other SAIF people here have a place to go? I feel bad for ever even talking about my DD, but would love to discuss the issues of SAIF, particularly dealing with IVF and a demanding child. TW: over Anyway, I recognize the need for this to be a place where we don’t have to deal with troubles we deal with daily IRL.

TW: LC mentioned {TW: LC mentioned} hoosiermama76, anytime you want to talk about IVF with demanding children, let me know! Either with a spoiler and tagging, or even just by PM. Trying to coordinate all of this on top of daycare drop off is... challenging, to say the least. My issue is a bit different, but we are doing IVF anyway. TW: over I will also say that the TWs are definitely helpful, because you just never know what may be triggering on any given day, no matter your history.

Hey guys. I'm not a regular poster over here, but I creep around on the daily. I don't need to be added to the list, but if I could get some good FET thoughts, it would be much appreciated.
I'm having my last FET with this IVF round of embryos tomorrow (transferring the last two), and I'm feeling very anxious about them thawing out properly. We had 8 total 5dpt embryos, and they have all thawed out well so far. It's just that I haven't been able to get a BPT+ or have miscarried. I just want this to work so badly.

1 PGS normal embryo. Fuck. The other two were a monosomal 21 and a duplication of the long arm on the 5th. I guess I'm glad I did the testing so I wouldn't waste money we didn't have on two that wouldn't become pregnancies.

babyhopes I hope your biopsies go well and you get some useful info out of it! fikafairy coq10 is a standard one, I think. DHEA is better in some situations than others from what I remember. The book "it starts with the egg" is a good one for supplements and what situations that work best in. I think they recommend 3 months. jense927 good luck! I hope the lupron treats you well. skidevil87 I'm sorry AF is kicking your butt, and that you didn't get great news with the PGS testing, but I think it's good you did it. Now you know you have one PGS normal one and don't waste your time with the others. ♪♫choppinbroccoli♫♪ all the good thoughts for you. AFM, AF came last week and I start monitoring on Thursday for an un medicated FET. We were cancelled last month because my body didn't cooperate, so I'm hoping things go better this time.

OK, so I guess on my laptop I saw the icon for how to do it myself. TW for basically everything in the spoiler. {Spoiler}I started feeling really shitty, tired and nauseated so I took a test, and it's clearly positive. We are all set to do IVF with PGD in Dec/January because my husband has a translocation. I have been pregnant 5 times: one blighted ovum, one chemical, one LC, one missed miscarriage, and now. So, my track record is not the best and my risk of miscarriage are significantly higher than background. I am terrified. Can I stay here until my betas are over?

I’ve had two surgeries before, so I’m not worried about it, but this time they are taking the tubes. I know I don’t actually have a shot to get pregnant on my own, but this is taking that 1% statistic and making me a zero. I’m just a bit more emotional about it this time.
