Do you think Mueller has a staffer whose job is solely to monitor the tweets? That poor person.

Honestly, the radical distortion and undermining of fact or reality right now terrifies me. It’s not just that we have different approaches to a shared reality. We live in two wholly separate universes. I think when all is said and done, the mistrust and degradation of the work produced by journalists will be the most damaging part of this era. (I hope it ends up being too short to call an era). It’s really crazy to think in a time when we have access to so much information all the time (video, life stream, date and time stamps on everything) that there is so much discrepancy on facts and truth. Bizarre stuff.

Last month there were rumors of language referencing and defining "unborn children" in the law related to 529 college savings accounts. Plus the Johnson repeal, which may have also opened the doors to all 501c3 non profits endorsing candidates. Anyone sees coverage on whether these two made it through? I don’t want to spread rumors, but.. According to H- I have not seen this said myself! - they worked in life begins at conception. I have no idea if it’s true, as I haven’t dug into the news enough to find out

It was a big thing in the infertility world for people like me who needed IVF to get pregnant who now have to worry how that wording will impact fertility treatment options.

Interesting - do you mind saying more about that? Would it be related to the embryos? What I'd read was very isolated to the definition for eligibility of college savings accounts. You can already open a 529 before your kid is born in practice, but this had a definition of "unborn child" as a person, which was celebrated because it would be codified in law. Not sure if that could be extrapolated for any other purpose, or if there was anything else snuck in there. Wouldn't put it past 'em. Let's keep an eye out.

"Trump’s fast-food diet is a theme. “On Trump Force One there were four major food groups: McDonald’s, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke,” the authors write.
The plane’s cupboards were stacked with Vienna Fingers, potato chips, pretzels and many packages of Oreos because Trump, a renowned germaphobe, would not eat from a previously opened package.
The book notes that “the orchestrating and timing of Mr. Trump’s meals was as important as any other aspect of his march to the presidency,” and describes the elaborate efforts that Lewandowski and other top aides went through to carefully time their delivery of hot fast food to Trump’s plane as he was departing his rallies."

I’m dying at him being a germaphobe incapable of eating out of previously opened packages (probably opened by himself) but being totally cool with fast food where you know other people had to have touched it.
I’ve got contamination OCD and that seems backward to my brain.

yes. hes the dragon overlord of my state. Mine too. It's nice to see so many candidates throwing their hat in the ring to run against him.

Not talon but...When people define life as beginning at conception they also try to limit things that might "damage" a life. This includes, but is not limited to, freezing embryos and doing preimplantation screening to ensure the embryo is genetically normal or to select away from embryos carrying certain traits (such as an illness mom or dad is a carrier for). This could also make it more difficult for persons/couples who do not choose to use all their created embryos and opting instead to donate them (to another couple or to science), discard embryos or keep them frozen indefinitely. Defining embryos as being alive could really interfere with back infertility treatment options.

Now they’re trying to say John Dowd (lawyer) drafted Trump’s tweet today. Which is a...how do you say...fucking odd strategy.

Wouldn't an attorney know better than to admit to obstruction when his client is being investigated? I mean, I don't doubt the WH is as full of shit as it has been since last January, but come on!
