This time of year is the best! Everyone is in the holiday spirit! The weather is awesome! You’re flush with cash! The diet is going great! Just kidding. Just hang out here until next reveal day.

This A+ list mostly movie actor and this foreign born A- list model/wannabe actress/frequent companion are tired of each other. The problem they have is their worlds exploding into scandal if they can't come to some agreement to not crush the other publicly.

Okay, in an attempt to lift spirits for the holiday season, I have two "nice" celebrity encounters. They are not super well known ppl, but famous enough I think.
1) Ray Allen (NBA player) - Legitimately one of the nicest people I have ever met. He used to frequent a restaurant I worked at waaaay back in the day. Always willing to sign autographs and talk to fans (even if it meant he couldn't eat his food when it was warm), super generous tipper, learned/remembered people's names and seemed sincerely interested when asking how they were doing, down to earth, polite kind of guy. His girlfriend at the time was the same way - we always looked forward to serving either of them. I was so happy when he won the NBA Championships with the Celtics, and later The Heat with LeBron.
2) Art Smith (celebrity chef, Oprah's former personal chef). Very friendly and kind individual. We ate at his restaurant in Chicago a few times and he always came out to chat with each table. The last time we ate there, we mentioned we were moving to a new city. He then said "wait a minute" and came back with a hand written list of all his favorite places to eat in that city - with recommendations on what to order at each. That was definitely an unsolicited nice thing to do.
That's my feel-good contribution!

Ever wonder why this location was chosen to host this annual event? Sure, you can say new customers, but the customers who made the decision are the ones who will be enjoying the pre and post show services of the models and the millions in fees they are paying to the company who are loving it.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show puke. I thought China was an odd choice. I'm losing faith in humanity. Do the majority of people think those in power can just use and abuse those who aren't? From neighbors and tutors to producers and business people- at every echelon it seems. Ugh.

I have a nice celebrity story.
Steven Spielberg was filming in the city where I live and frequently came into the restaurant I worked at for dinner with his wife. He was very nice and tipped quite well! My friend waited on them and I got to touch his credit card ha ha. We were under strict instructions from the managers not to approach him so I didn't get to meet him though :/

That article is so powerful and drives home one of my main impressions of Ray Allen - empathetic and interested in learning about others. Thank you for sharing Leaf 🌱. Ray Allen really is a special human being and this article makes me like him even more. Another Ray anecdote- my HS boyfriend (who was 6'5" and played basketball for our HS team) and I were at an ice cream stand that Ray and his gf were at. Ray recognized me/remembered my name, came over and introduced himself to my boyfriend, and asked if he played basketball. My boyfriend mentioned what a fan he was and confirmed he played basketball for our HS team. Ray and him chatted for a good 10 min about basketball stuff and then Ray bought us ice cream. Again - he didn't have to do that on his night off (while having some down time with his gf), but he did because he is genuinely a nice guy. Everyone that new him in our community was so sad when he moved away.

American Music Awards
More than once at a party last night, this tool of a former tweener made his on again girlfriend show a new nipple piercing to random strangers. The girlfriend looked mortified each time but did what he said.
