"It’s a new week and a new beginning. First and foremost, NO, THIS WEBSITE IS NOT DISAPPEARING. It’s not leaving, it’s not being archived. It’s not lights out. This place is home to so many people who have shared family-building experiences, and that is and always has been at the forefront of what we do here. So let’s get back to what we do best- being an amazing support network and sharing odd gifs.
1) It’s always a bittersweet when change happens. Theo and Biblio have both wanted to scale back their involvement due to family obligations. 2.5 years is a long time in the world of startup, and we wouldn’t be where we are today without them. I’d like to wish them both well as they transition off the leadership team. I’m excited to switch up who is sitting at the table, and what that means for new ideas and fresh perspectives.
2) Operational changes. Businesses need structure, and that structure is needed for TCF to grow and flourish. From a day to day operational standpoint, there are going to be a few changes:
- Issues, disputes, and concerns will be handled Monday- Friday, 9AM-4:30 PM Eastern.
This is to set realistic expectations of timely responses to inquiries and concerns. As always, if there is an emergency that requires immediate attention for the safety of a member, you can always shoot us a message on facebook, as those notifications are pushed 24/7.
- Changes to the site, forums, leadership, and features will be announced before implementation. The goal is always to keep you informed, and to put the needs of our community at the forefront of operations.
- Feedback is always appreciated, and can be sent to customerservice@thencomesfamily.com
3) TOU review updates will be happening on a quarterly basis to ensure that our community rules and guidelines are reflective of the membership. The thread will be bumped with an updated date when these reviews happen.
4) Future growth and development- there are strategies in place to start promoting our content, recruiting new members, and growing our sphere of influence on the internet. Look forward to the implementation of strategic marketing and promotions after the Memorial Day weekend.
