10 Things Thanksgiving Edition

I'm posting a day early because Thanksgiving.

1. I met up with an old friend Monday and we talked for a long time over coffee. It was so much better than I ever could have hoped for.

2. We're planning on moving back to our hometown in five years or so, and she eased a lot of my fears about that.

3. I sold a set of blocks, and I had another person (who is a small store owner) show interest in them!

4. We're traveling this weekend, but it's all pretty low-key.

5. We still haven't gotten the money H was shorted in his paycheck and bonus, and it's stressing me out.

6. I'm halfway done with my last Christmas blanket. I can't wait to be done because a) I'm bored with them, and b) I have a skein of new wool destined to be warm winter socks.

7. I need warm winter socks because it is 15* out this morning, and that is just not okay.

8. I'm having a really hard time coming up with ten things.

9. I got a new driver's license Monday and I don't have to renew it again until I'm 40. That will be quite convenient (H will be out of the military by then), but also wow. 40.

10. MIL was really nice to me last time I talked to her, and I'm still trying to figure out what her angle is. I'm having a hard time believing she was nice for the sake of niceness.

1. We're getting out early today.
2. So I probably should be working extra hard to get things done beforehand, but that isn't happening.
3. I may shoot over to ON after work because 50% off everything.
4. I wore a blanket scarf to work and my office is a sauna. Even with the window open I'm sweating but if I take the scarf off, I'll look like a slob. #fwp
5. The kids have been sick (fevers, colds, hacking coughs) and it seems it's my turn. Super.
6. I'm so ready for 4 days off.
7. My SIL is coming to visit which excites my boys immensely, and means date nights for MH and me.
8. My Disney 10k is 3 months from Friday. I need to step it up big time.
9. Have I mentioned that I'm binge watching Parks & Rec? I don't know why I didn't watch it when it was actually on. I am OBSESSED with it.
10. If it was appropriate to watch Netflix at work, I'd be watching right now.

1. I had the day off all by myself!

2. I got my haircut and they treated me so well! I got a bonus scalp massage and mini facial. I love going there!

3. I scored a quiet lunch out and enjoyed it. Ive really come a long way from how this was so anxiety provoking when I was freshly and unexpectedly single, but I can really enjoy it now.

4. I scored big on some Christmas shopping so it's been a pretty good day.

5. I made appetizers for tomorrow.

6. I really hope I can turn this cheese ball into a turkey. Pinterest says I can, but I'm really hoping it's not a fail lol!

7. I finished one of the fluffy blankets I'm crocheting.

8. I'm halfway finished with the second. They're going so quickly!

9. SO found out he's getting a raise effective with his next pay period. It's not a lot, but will be much appreciated.

10. I'm looking forward to enjoying my 5 day weekend off from school. I really needed this time to regroup.
