One for the 'first time' list: my dad looked after D. for the first time today while I had an appointment this am. She slept while I was gone so there wasn't much to do for opa![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) When it was time for her next feeding (I was only gone for about an hour in between feeds) he was all like "okay I'm ready for it" and he seemed disappointed that he couldn't give her a bottle *g* Now we still supplement every other feeding on top of BFing so he gave her her extra bottle, and she sat on his lap for a good while too. It was adorable to see them together ♥

So this period is killing me. I've been spotting for 5 days. One day it started getting red and a little heavier so I tried a tampon. Of course after that nothing. I just need it to actually come instead of just days on end of spotting accompanied by a horrible headache.
Also, tmi, I feel like my whole area down there is still a little out of whack. Will it ever feel normal again? It's nothing specific, just not the same?

Ah that's cute muscari I'm glad he was able to feed her. My dad is like the kid whisperer. All the kids love him. J slept on him yesterday but he had to pass him off so he could get my 1 year old cousin to sleep. Then as he was holding j the 1 year old was so pissed and kept trying to climb up his leg . Lol

As for feeling out of wack still, I don't have a clue sinceI ended up with a CS but it doesn't sound too weird to me for things still feeling different... and after childbirth maybe week never really feel the same?

I️ can’t tell if M is just drooling so much from this cold or actually teething but either way I️ feel like she is a bear. I️ have to hold her basically constantly, she isn’t napping well either. I️ think we are already in leap 4 and it says it starts in 6 days. Oof My M is kinda being exactly like this for a few days even though the leap started today. So I think it’s the leap there’s no way it’s teeth yet. Even though I was really wondering. Omg N is being a beast these last few days- just so cranky and crying a lot and barely napping. We had to put him in his car seat and gofir a drive last night so he’d fall asleep 😣 it was awful. I guess it’s the leap ☹️ Also this morning I threw my back/neck out. I’m having such an awful spasm I couldn’t move my head or neck. I couldn’t move. I laid in bed for hours in pain, DH got me a muscle relaxant, I’ve been using the heating pad, hot shower, and went for a massage so I can move around now but still am in a LOT of pain. Fuck man. I’m so grateful DH is off of work this weekend!! I’d die if I had to do today on my own.

H and I had a little bit of a fight today. MIL asked me yesterday if it was all right if they did their annual shopping trip together (H told her to ask me). H and I had already talked about it and I told him he should take one of the kids this year. Well, I said the same thing to his mom and at first she was like, “we’ll take the baby!” Then they were like, “that’d be a bad idea.” They spend 5+ hours shopping/eating lunch and for some reason it pisses me off every year. Part of it is H and I don’t see each other much during the week and it’s less after thanksgiving since he usually leaves for work before I get home. It takes up a whole Saturday. And, I hate shopping so for some reason I think it’s weird that they go into so many stores at the mall to just look. Plus, like last year they said they’d bring dinner, but they were late - don’t fuck with me when it comes to food. Why ask me, if you’re just going to do whatever the fuck you want anyways?

addymac, GDI that’s awful! Hope you feel better soon and get some relief. @starzia, yeah I️ breastfed till 18 months. You just get used to teeth I️ guess. DD1 wasn’t really bad with biting or anything. We shall see with this one.

All my kids seem to really like the fisher price kick and play piano. They use it for tummy time and when they are laying flat, they love to kick the piano. My 3 year old still likes to play and dance around with the keyboard. I can't remember with DS1 - maybe 7ish months? At that point he preferred to be sitting up.

Crap my nights sweats and sleeping issues are back since a couple of days. I hope this is just my hormones rebalancing cause of ...uhm i dunno. Maybe my milk production is getting better? Lol wishful thinking. Just hope it is not a sign I am getting my period soon. I was secretly hoping pregnancy somehow catapulted me from POF crap straight into being done altogether (even though I never expected it wanted to be OAD I know this one miracle is all I can hope for now andI am eternally grateful for her).
Also gah. so now D sttn my cats are waking me up motn instead? Not cool fuzzy!!!

bsouls errr that sounds really annoying to me, too. Sometimes, some traditions need to change / adapt... Are they going to take one of the older kids this year? And yeah- I’d be a hangry mess when they’d get back late w food! 😤

Sorry for the sore back addymac. My neck and back are killing me too from the constant up and down MOTN. jt2378, well we still have 16 days left for our leap 4, and id say it definitely feels that long. He’s grown and has learned so many new things too! He’s babbling up a storm and loves to “talk” with me. Super cute. But, if only he’d sleep for longer than 2 hours at a time.

addymac that sounds horrible, I hope you feel better soon! So BFing when cutting teeth can be a challenge, especially if you have a biter. DS bit me so hard one time that he drew blood and I cried. It can also mess up their latch a little as they adjust to having teeth. I know some people stop once that happens, it’s just whatever you’re comfortable with. I powered through and BF DS for 14 months.

And speaking of teeth...I think P may be cutting her first one. Both H and I noticed (separately) what looks like a little white nub on her bottom gum. I’m going to try and snap a picture later. If it is though...damn! I did not expect teeth this early.

jexxa, Oh wow that IS early! As for BF, I do hope to be able to continue BFing once D. starts teething but I guess it depends on how things go. She's not a biter now, but I guess this could change once she gets teeth and all? She occasionally clenched her jaws together with my nipple in between when she was littler but luckily stopped doing that cause ouch

bsouls, I love traditions but they should 'grow' along with your family, I feel. I'm sorry it caused a fight between you and YH. Hopefully you found eachother in the middle (and they brought you food at a decent time this time!). addymac, ahh that sounds painful, sorry mama! Hopefully today is better? @easilyunamused, I'm both looking forward as dreading this next leap. It is so much fun to see them learn all those new things! Love it. I hope your lil one will learn how to sleep longer then 2h at a time soon! I can't imagine how rough that must be *hugs*

king26 so glad the carrides were okay! And how neat the swaddle up is helping with the sleeping issues some. Hopefully it means you will get some proper sleep again soon. jexxa did P stop rolling over and over and over yet? *g* that was so cute to read and I bet even cuter to see ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I was just commenting to MH today that I felt like I was PMSing, too. I've had this annoying headache lurking for a couple days now, an crabby and easily annoyed, and the nightsweats are back in full force - all signs of Af lurking around the corner. Boo. Though I felt this way a few weeks ago as well and nothing happened so *confused*

TMI maybe but how many of you have gotten their first PP period already? I've felt like I was ovulating twice now and PMSy but no period.. I know it can take a while to com back when you BF so who knows. With my history of Asherman's I guess I'm worried that the adhesions are back in full force, especially also since I had to have a C-section. I'll have to do a hysteroscopy at some point to check, but hope to be able to postpone that for a while yet heh.

Booooo to AF. I forgot how much PMS sucks, lol.

I had like 2 weeks of fertile CM so I have no idea when I actually O’d.

Now I wish I had cause it may have given me a better idea of when to expect AF. Then again, I seem to have had weeks of EWCM as well which was just confusing as heck? Also, gosh all the lingo from TTC comes back to me now, it feels so far away LOL!

Gosh I'm so so tired. Most days I'm okay but today the lack of sleep is really getting to me. D. has also been extremely fussy this afternoon, fighting her sleep and refusing to nap. She wouldn't latch properly while drinking either.. so cue a very frustrated anxious and upset mama. Luckily H got home early from work and took her for a bit while I ran an errand and got some fresh air. She fell asleep about an hour ago and I hope she'll sleep for a little while longer so we can eat dinner in peace lol. Waiting on our grocery delivery though but they keep changing arrival time grrr!

I've got 2 random questions.
Do you put shoes on your baby? I don't have any shoes for him because he can't walk and thought nothing of it but when we were out walking around the other day DH asked why I didn't have shoes on him. I honestly never thought to put them on him.
Second questiin...j has a bumpy rash on his chest, belly, and one side of his face. Any thoughts on what it is? I called the dr. Today and they said to keep an eye on it and if it gets worse come in but I wanted to know if anyone else has had this. It's a bunch of little bumps and some areas are red

I feel it’s a little strained with H and I today. But, I’ve been in a mood with bad sleep. I’m guessing maybe our fight will cut their trip a little shorter, but maybe not. And, I’m guessing no kid. His mom kind of likes to do what she wants and I realized he’s sort of similar when it comes to things like this. I got a period. It was lighter than normal, so we will see when and what a second one looks like. king26 we don’t put shoes on R. MIL gave us moccasins someone gave her. We put them on once even though they’re not our style. We ordered Nike baby shoes with her name and we will use those after Christmas - but, those are more for keepsake purposes. I don’t think twice about babies not wearing shoes.
