Hi ladies. I was in a car accident today with the boys. Someone hit me from behind, but we're all fine. I think it scared me more than the boys. I was actually in MH's truck, so I'm thankful for that because it could have been worse had I been in my car. Anyway, I have to get the car seats replaced and I have zero time to research and you all were my first thought. M2's infant carrier model isn't made anymore (M's old Britax chaperone ) and M had a Britax Boulevard. I need recommendations. I know we have a few new preggies - which one have you picked? I'm tagging Cher too because I think she has the one that also doubles as a stroller. I can't think of the brand, but tell me if you love it. I like M's Boulevard, but kind of hate that it doesn't have a cup holder. I did buy the attachment one, but it doesn't stay on, so looking at getting him something different. Tell me what you have if you love your convertible car seat. Sorry I'm just drive by posting. Be back later and Thank You in Advance!! ETA: I also have never done this before so if you have advice on how to proceed with the insurance company about getting it replaced, please share! Also, the stroller was in the back. Do I need to get it replaced, too?

I’m glad you’re okay.
The Doona. Yes. Amazing. That and the SNOO are my baby must-haves. The Doona is worth every penny and I will never go back.

If M1 is FF I would get the Graco transitions. I love it. It's easy to clean, and the straps are the smoothest straps I've ever tightened/loosened. It's also narrow for fitting more seats/actually being able to use the middle seat in a car.

OMG I am so happy that you and the boys are ok. Phew!
I have the Peg Perego car seats for the kids, I like them, comfy and sturdy.

So happy to hear that you're all OK. It's scary. We have a Britax Advocates. They're great!
In terms of insurance, once I mentioned that I had a car seat that was in an accident they told me to go ahead and buy or order the one that I wanted, and then to send them either the receipt or the Amazon page (which we did) and they reimbursed me within 10 days.

No you don't need to replace the stroller unless you see damage to it

Cher, just looked at a video of a Doona; totally would have saved my back all of those months carrying Charlie around in the bucket seat. I'm going to recommend this to every new parent.

I’m glad you’re all ok. How much damage was done to your vehicle? Britax doesn’t require replacement for all accidents. Check your manual or look online to see for sure. If you want to replace anyways I would get a combination seat for M, like the graco tranzitions like peach mentioned. Whenever baby #3 comes along I will probably get another Chicco keyfit, but in your situation if you already have a stroller that works with Britax infant seats then I’d just get a new one of that brand.

I'm so happy you are all ok. I'm of no help with car seats though. My sister dropped off an infant carrier for my new kid. I don't even know what kind it is but she researches all that stuff so I'm good with it.

I'm glad you and the boys are ok. I hope the accident is the worst of the ordeal.

I’m so sorry about the accident! How scary. Glad y’all are alright.
We have the Britax Roundabout convertible and I love it; it does have a built-in cup holder, too.
For M1, we just got B the Graco Nautilus (5-point, high back booster, regular booster) and I’ve been very pleased so far. Easy installation, not too bulky, he’s comfortable, cup holder and side compartment for a snack or matchbox cars, ha. Might be something to consider since it will take you into the future.
