It must be the age since R is back to waking up earlier. It’s still just once, but it’s like 1:30-3am instead of 5am. Y’all sleeping with your babies makes me feel cold. My philosophy has always been “kid, figure it out.” I think it’s partly because I toss and turn, so T never really had the option to sleep with me. A will just scream until I pick him up, so until he’s old enough to truly CIO I’m stuck. I sit up and lay him on the brest friend pillow like I’m nursing him (and will nurse on and off) and sleep that way. So I don’t move at all in that position.

It’s pretty amazing the way A can wake up exactly 60 mins from when he goes to sleep over and over again all night long. I just don’t understand why he must get up hourly. It’s insane. Also, add me to bringing baby to bed for some extra snoozes. I only allow myself to do so after 5am though. Otherwise we’d be up and out of bed at 4am! I hate bedtime and don’t look forward to it at all. I just don’t know what I could do differently to make it better. I️ could have written this word for word 3 years ago. I️ know I️ just keep saying sorry for what your going through but really there is nothing you can do differently right now. Thanks! When did your LO finally start to sleep?

It's always after his second wake up because by then I'm lightly sleeping.

My mom brought down that rattle last time because my niece didn't like it. So we have it but haven't used it yet.

What’s this sit me up thing you guys are talking about? Is it this: Should I get it or nah? Pros? Cons? Late to this, but we have one. I never really used it with my first, but this guy loves it. At first I would have to prop him, but now he can sit up with good head control. It's something different that the swings or mat. He can see what's going on. Pros-- entertains him, helps with neck muscles, has toys. Cons- may not be able to sit for long times yet.

And I always thought it was something I was doing wrong and that one magical thing could fix it. We've done almost exactly the same thing with baby h and his sleep pattern is entirely different. I think now that some kids sleep and some don't. It does get better, though. Ds1, who is three, started sttn at around 2 years old cosleeping, and just this week his is in his own big boy bed. Hugs, though, it really sucks.

I think I’m going to have to look into getting that sit me up thing. I doubt DS would have liked it, but P seems like she would.
+1 to PP hair loss. Mine started a few weeks ago. I have thin hair to begin with so this is especially awful.
Last night P woke up around 4 and just laid there babbling to herself for like 30 minutes. It was cute, but it kept me up. She also somehow managed to turn herself 180 degrees in her crib while swaddled. I was so confused when I looked on the monitor 😆

I don't nap because I have a hard time sleeping during the day but today j went down at 1130 and DH got in bed so I hopped in too. J slept until 1230, dh and I had some adult time for the first time in forever, then DH took a 30 minute nap and I just lay in bed and did nothing....it felt amazing since I always feel like I'm running around like a crazy person .

So M has not been eating that much lately. She was eating 4-5 oz every 3-4 hours but lately she doesn't really seem interested in eating at all. She doesnt really cry to eat but I will offer her the bottle every 4 hrs anyway. She will eventually eat it but it takes forever because she is totally uninterested and keeps spitting out her bottle so we'll take a break then she'll eventually fuss a bit and I give it back. She drinks for a minute and spits it back out and repeat. We end up taking a million breaks and it takes like an hour for her to eat 4 oz and sometimes she doesn't even finish. She doesn't seem sick or anything, she is happy and playful and babbling constantly just no interest in her bottle. She was all about eating before. Anyone else's baby done this? Is this normal? We have a pedi appointment on Monday so I'll mention it then but I'm just a little worried.

It happens sometimes around the 4 month mark but maybe just earlier? They also tend to space out feedings more sometimes. Does she STTN? As long as she is still fine weight wise I️ wouldn’t worry. Glad she goes on Monday, good timing!

And then went like 3-4hrs and then did another 4-5min and was over it again. Offered a bottle instead and just spit it out. So idk. Otherwise he seems okay so I figure I’ll let him be... 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

jt2378, I think she is doing ok weight wise, she hasn't lost any weight but she didn't gain any weight this week either according to our scale and she's always been on the small side for weight. We'll find out for sure Monday when the pedi weighs her I guess.

We have our first night out tonite, going to a concert. DD1 is going to MILs for a sleepover and my mom is coming over to watch M. I’m nervous because she is extra fussy at night, wants to clusterfeed to sleep and doesn’t take a bottle well. Luckily the show is local but we will probably be gone from 7:00 till midnight. Eeekk

I'm so sad right now. My brother and sil have been trying to get pregnant. They lost a baby at 6 weeks last year that was due the same week as j. They just found out last night at 11 weeks they lost another baby. I can't stop crying for them. I've been there and it sucks so badly. Now here we come to thanksgiving with our infant. They of course are no longer hosting, my parents are now. I'm just devastated foe them.

king26 oh man I’m so, so sorry. Sending them hugs and lots of love. TG I’m sure will be extra hard for them, but, for me, at least, after my loss, the only people/babies I could stand to be around were people that I knew had also struggled / lost a baby, and while there was a small sadness, there was very little jealousy/sadness/anger towards them. I hope maybe they may feel that way too.
