I'm also partial to Parenting. AmyG you need to hold off on doing much more until discussions on Monday where everyone can state their ideas. The site looks great as is but it was agreed upon that people would just chill for a day and then reconvene tomorrow. She has not been on at all since last night. |

I like A Place to Meet. Anything with the name Family is too reminiscent of TCF in my opinion. And if we want any chance of attracting the loss / IF communities, Parenting is unwise. was just about to say this. I don't think Parenting is a good idea for the forum name just because it may alienate our TTTC/IF/loss posters. What about scary invaders? lol mostly joking. I have no ideas. |

What about The Catchall Collective.
Catchall by definition means a bunch of different things gathered in a place. That would include absolutely everyone.
And collective basically is people acting like a group.
I feel like it would work and not exclude anybody nor feel reminiscent of TCF or any thing "mommy".

Anything else if mcbenny's right as owner of the board lots not rocket science and it's fun to play around We are going have to live somewhere until any kind of decision of made And I don't see we can jump and run off to another site without a heck of a lot more thought and investigation than jumping to scary mommy Think of it as I'm setting up some trailers to get people out of tents. the people will have to figure out if they want to build a home to replace their trailer or move it elsewhere . Ok. But please wait until everyone decides what to do. Loss boards, etc are one thing. We don't need a KonMari board yet |

One major issue with the other place is that there were too many boards. Let's get a dialog going this next week to see what works as a whole. So for example we can have a thread where people who want to be considered for the Admin committee can nominate themselves or accept the nomination. Then we can vote in another thread with a poll format. We can make another thread to talk about boards that are wanted and judge by love tits whoch ones are high priority. side thought, since love tits can get forgotten or some just love to tit alot. One person names a board, anyone who is interested in it quote it and +1 it, if enough want it (6, 12, 20, whatever minimum requirement is agreed upon), once enough +1s are received board is made. Admin stated it's making (link) in thread, users try to stop quoting & +1 to original post request. |
